GREAT to see you back in this game, definately still playing. Your first set of videos were instrumental in my learning the game even half as well as I have so far. Looking forward to lots more from you!
Welcome back can I recommend starting a new play list for this series as the game has changed massive amounts and you are going to want to move all the boxes off the lander to your base as it get destroyed during storms and they can go everywhere. good to see you back
You can open helmet momentarily to drink water, then flush the suit to empty toxic gas; at worst you will get K.O, but as long as you flush you will wake up.
just to let you know keep a eye on you lander and solar planels as each storm they get damaged so asap get your boxes indoors, if your lander gets destoryed bye bye to all your gear.
will this be a guide how to build up a base and stuff .. where everything is shown how to setup things in detail so i can use it as a tutorial ?... sure hope so.. its late now so can not see this video yet.. but i will save it and if it is what i think i will make a copy of what you make if building things are not skipped and i can not see how you do it.,, i tryed to say if it is a tutorial i will follow all videos of the upcomming serie:) (guessing it gonna be a serie as it say #1 at title :)
My goal is to show as much as possible, the only thing I'm planning on skipping is some mining. This is planned on being a series so stay tuned! I appreciate your support
@@Bushwackah the changes made to the game since you last played really changes your priorities. You used to be able to turn off the food and water. Now, the first thing you need to do it build a tiny pressurized room so you can not starve to death. lol
Listen to this man when he says that you should put 3 consoles on every airlock. In my recent playthrough I was doing some work in my greenhouse when the airlock bugged out and cycled without receiving an input from my part. now I'm trapped inside and can't reach the console because the airlock has depressurized, the outer door is open and the inner door won't respond. I can't even force the inner door open with the crowbar because the security bolts are in place.
Great Video. Have you done something on how to set up the power displays on your Usage, Production, and battery status system? I managed to get the non reset code working. I have 2 rows of 20 panels feeding my base. But they are only 40-50% efficient. I'm not sure why, I was using a bunch of chips before i did your IC setup and i was still getting low efficiency.
12:54 opening all the valves to remove the gas from the room, you opened the two valves to the gas tank storages that still have tanks in them, isn't that going to pump some gas into the tanks??
Maybe this works in the game but it doesn't look like it should work. Haven't you used a lot more pipe than you need to? Surely the pipe coming out of the unfiltered port of a filtration unit should go directly to the input of the next filtration unit but there shouldn't be a T-junction in that pipe. It looks like some of the gas could just bypass all the filtration units without going through any of the filtration units.
Connecting them up the way you described (unfiltered output directly into the input of the next filtration unit) is putting all the filters in series. He specifically said he was connecting his system up in parallel. Both methods have pros and cons. The series system will filter everything going through it in effectively "one pass", however if there is a failure (e.g. filter unit turning off due to logic) it stops the flow to everything else downstream. The parallel system is slower to filter everything compared to the series system, but a stopped or failed filtration unit will only affect that part of the system, leaving the rest to continue unaffected. You are also correct in that some gases are able to bypass the filter units altogether. This could actually be desirable - for example, there could be a need for only one or two gases to be filtered out of the mixed line, and the rest be vented to atmosphere. It also allows for a system that is controlled by logic where the filter units could be switched off when the filtered storage tank is full, leaving the now unwanted excess to be vented to atmosphere or be otherwise distributed elsewhere. Hope that helps.
I know this is old but mine don't do that the mag bucket has been at 1% for about 40 buckets . But i do get a message telling me i get like 30 or 50 . what ever in it . Basically im not getting any even though the messages are clearly telling me i am. Not sure if im doing something wrong or what .
