Thank you for showing us how to replace part that does work well. However, I have watched how to change air suspension compressor and valve block, my question about how do I know the problem from compressor or from valve block while front a car does not getup when I had malfunction message on dashboard and before do it that I heard air release sound when I parked the car and switched off engine.
While they are all made in Taiwan by Kabo they are not exactly the same. The two paired sizes on a given wrench can differ from set to set. Also there are differences in the ratcheting mechanisms not sure if that is just Kabo changing the design over time or buyers choosing different specs. The length of the handle gives a huge amount of leverage and you can easily bend the handles, break the pivot or ratchet mechanism. A huge part of the price differences is the warranty. A company like Mountain that has no intention of honoring the warranty can undercut Harbor Freight who sells a much higher volume but has to account for the cost of replacements. Since the ICON first came out HF has been steadily raising the price to account for this. I am more careful w/ them than most of my other tools not just because I value my time and don't want the hassle of replacement. I operate under the assumption that my vendor could stop carrying them at anytime.

basically i was told that i should of know beter then to buy from autel us 🤷🤷🤷 and should of bought from a authorized dealer like autozone or orileys or autel usa🤷🤷 which is all twice the price as any where else you can buy it🤷🤷🤷 wtf!!

i bought one new 🤷 from altell us it showed up locked and i gues altel usa wont unlock it?? wtf? evedently altel us is in china?? and altel usa is the usa dealer and they hate autel us which is the china mfg🤷🤷 they fude like hell betwen the two and botom line is me the customer wound up with 1000 dollar piece of crap that is locked???
Hey bro, I got a question to ask you. I have the 2013 Mercedes Benz GL450. I also have a youchanic scantool. When I scan the AC control module, It explains to me that the AC compressor. have no reason to be an emergency shutoff mode. It also tells me everything is working. order. but get this. when I Turn the ignition. to number two Position which is auxiliary mode in all the lights are Is illuminated? on my cluster console.without starting the motor. . then I press the AC button. The scanner reads AC Button Press. Then when I start my engine AC active light Indicator on my scanner immediately turns off it says AC button, not press although that the AC button and AC Max. climate control cluster light is indicated red. with no flashes. on the middle console cluster. But my scan tool say that. the AC button has not been pressed even if I press the button 1000 times. While the motor is running. it won't term my. compressor on. in our recently changed the air quality sensor. That was the last code that he had. I still nothing and reset the code. It haven't came back yet after driving over 150mi Do you have any idea what this can be also? remember seeing. a p023A00 Accumulation coolant pump t. Of change air cooler has an electrical fault or open circuit. I googled this code and I can't find anything about it. that do you know anything about this code and where were the feasible link be located or is it a sensor or anything? said something about auxiliary water pump But like I said, I can't find anything else about it I know open circuits means that I have a blowing fuse or maybe a wire damage. but I don't know exactly where that is located. If you can help me and greatly appreciate it, do that code, have anything to do with my AC because like I said before, what I did run the scan, I saw the code under the AC. Question for you, I have a 2016 E350 I want to know how to bend the bracket I mean up or down to raise the right side it’s slightly or tell me about the adjuster you install, what kind and how? There is no code on the screen Thanks😊
I have a 2013 S550 and I'm experiencing an issue where the right side keeps sagging. The suspension compressor stopped working, so I replaced it. However, the new compressor still doesn't turn on. I've checked the relays and confirmed there's power. My question is: if the valve block is malfunctioning, could it prevent the compressor from turning on at all, or should the compressor still activate regardless of the valve block's status? Essentially, I want to know if a faulty valve block can stop the compressor from even starting up.
Hi Lou. Great video ref Elite II and just bought one and delivered. I’m in the UK and have a year 2000 SL600, VIn begins WDB129076, and it has a 38 pin connector. Do you know who produces a connector that will connect the 38 pin to the Elite and provide as full a diagnosis as possible? I’m it has the hydraulic suspension and I’d like to get it level. It’s slightly up at the passenger rear. Great videos.
Thank you, you can find many adapters. Just google 16 pin to 38 pin. Get a good one from a reputable supplier. I have ran into many communication issues with clients over the years due to cheaply made connections. Also thank you for the nice comments 🙏
Also fyi the leveling on these old 129 are mechanical. It is not electrical. Use a measuring tape to be sure of the level. Its not hard to level these but tedious.
Will this tool allow you to reset tire size, tire pressure, gear ratios and the rest for all vehicles without additional purchase? Some call this adaptations? Looks like Scantool calls it "updates" ? Is it safe to assume these functions are available for basically any Make /Model which it connects with?

I see on their website it says 36 Hot Maintenance Services one of them is TPMS but this does not tell me you can change for example the target Air pressure and range... or Gear Learning...sounds like you can change Gear ratio's here but not srue what that really means. Also "Tire upgrades" this sounds like changing tire sizes but it does not say specifically...thanks
Informative video, thank you. I have one of those autool smoke machines, it was cheap and does very well but does need shop air hookup. That's one thing people looking for a machine should note. Some, like your tool, come with their own air pumps but these tend to be pricier. Also, the bladder accessory is so darn useful. I used it on an air intake hose to find a vacuum leak.
Lou alittle Help? Malfunction error. wont rise. tested: 1) power direct to pump - good. 2) replaced 40a fuse 3) tested relay -Resistance = 200 and applied power to 85/86 - clicks. 4) multimeter to power clip going to pump - no reading (car on)
How do you go about registering the XTOOL D7 could you help with that. when I got mine 2024 xTOOL D7 through Amazon there was no seal on the case of the scanner when it was purchase that when it first come out the 2024 newest version XTOOL D7 didn't have any problems with it but there was no security seal on the case. It should have walked you through registration once you received it. If it didnt you may wanna return it. It should show you when the software expires. Indicating when it was put into service. And thank you for the nice comments on my channel I really want to help. I will be doing less reviews in the future and more “how to” videos
@@MasterTechLou thank you for replying back to me right away master tech Lou. So it got warranty when I registered when I connected to XTOOL D7. I did received all my downloads at the same time so that's when I receive my warranty I understand now. and even been receiving all my updates so I guess it got warranty when I connected to XTOOL D7 company ..but there was no safety seal on the case like it showed on your video the sticker over the seam of the case. that sticker it wasn't on mine. I wonder why but it works fine with no problem but my last download after I received it and it was done my screen went blank the only thing showing was my prompts were on the bottom that's all it shows so I shut it off restarted it and everything come back as it should I guess it's fine.. thank you for replying back to me right away I truly appreciate it Master Tech Lou I didn't understand how the warranty come into play thank you for let me know that.. Hello First, a very nice video and so far I got a lot of good knowledge about the ads system for our '10s550w/221 4matic. Now we just replaced the air susp. compressor,it was scanned as okay but, making loud screeching noises when it shut down, i just thought okay 14 years old and so I replaced it along with the two front struts(bilsteins b4 oe) and filter and relay for the compressor. What is happening is that every time we get into the car, it will raise up slightly about an inch or inch and a half on the driver side (I am a big guy)and remain there until the next day, it lowers the same amount about an inch and a half each new day and I thought as, you said it should remain at normal ride ht., for at least 3 or 4 days, so my mechanic says all is well with no leaks and he says it looks like the system is operating fine so... is this normal to raise up every day slightly, with it raising slightly to attain a normal ride ht? I kind of think something is not holding air but, the ride is superior when going down the road we even have better braking and cornering is great! Perhaps one of the level sensors should be tweaked to stop the operation daily? this is all I can gather, living in NC perhaps you know of a mechanic who is the best at these diagnostic problems which need minor adjustment or one simple part replacement.. thank you for a fine video and where are you located now, I do travel and would like to have you check out our car if I could? thanks -df in NC
Why not make the two surfaces touch and wait until the RTV hardens slightly to reduce the spread and then torque it? Would you still have excessive RTV enter the transmission?
If you think about what you are sayin you are now tellin me you want hard rtv between two surfaces. Only way to reduce spread is to reduce rtv amount 😉

That metallic key? I dont have that one. it's for A170 2007. We have to pull a cable that is hanging at the back inside to open the boot. It's a struggle. Can you assist?
There is no answer. It takes what it takes depending on how low it is and how many accessories you have on. Also if you use a battery charger it depends on the charger’s specs
New compressor, new fuse box, new fuses relay. Car did not want to start when I replaced compressor burned out fuse box so I got new fuse box car starts stays on with everything plugged up the button flashes but compressor won’t turn on. It’s brand new

Hello there I have a 2006 Mercedes Benz cls500 and every time that I drive it I go home and I park in the driveway I can hear the air compressor in the front pumping air is that normal or is it a leak and if you can tell me your best where you think that the are noise is coming from
GLS 550 2018. Rear is up, front is down. I get the (arrow up) Malfunction, warning. Why is the back staying up? I'm thinking its the compressor. The rear air bags were replaced about a year ago with Arnott bags.

@@stevenbaker4540 understood. In the video I stated in the very beginning if the dash shows malfunction you have to get the codes scanned. By all means I love helping but please understand my frustration when I take a lot of my time to help the masses with thorough information only to be asked questions that are in the video. Yes once the warning is on the dash you have to start with scanning the car. The airmatic will NOT work if the warning is on. There is no reset, it needs diagnosing and fixed and it will begin to operate as normal. If you run into troubles by all means ask I will be glad to help but please watch the video beginning to end its full of all the necessary information ❤️
You just cannot compare autel and xentry. Autel can be used for a lot of cars and can do different things. Xentry can only be used for Mercedes Benz cars, trucks and buses. It can do anything possible on a Mercedes Benz. It can program keys, it can program new modules but they have to be bought from the dealership not used ones. It cannot swap VIN numbers on modules, because that is illegal and it cannot program used modules because they want to sell new ones from dealership. Its simple math. What this guy is showing it makes no sense and it cannot be compared. Autel or any other device is not more powerful than Xentry for Mercedes Benz. These videos need to be banned really.

I can tell you everything face to face too. I dont really mind. I am telling you that you are wrong and you are butthurt. If you gave 20+ years as a mechanic i feel so sorry for all the people that wasted money in your workshop. You cannot compare the 2 tools together. Its as simple as that. One is chinese and the other one is the OEM tool. How does it all make sense for you? There is a reason why every workshop owns the OEM diagnostic device for the brand they work on the most. As for me not touching a diagnostics tool i can say that i own more tools than you. Its just so sad really.

I got mine way back in the day from mb star tool . Com I believe but now it shows it might not be live. ObdiI.shop looks to be live I would say check reviews and forums 🤷🏼♂️ Ill try to find a reputable source

@@richietorres8308 a lot of the differences are just the physical differences. Theres really only 4 levels of scanners. Basic obd All systems with non bi directional control All systems with by directional control All the above plus programming and coding options.
