Watching mine @ Greenpoint where after 10 o'clock it turns to Gunspoint for 12 hours, twice a day. Peace thru Superior Firepower from us old farts. Life sentence isn't a much of a deterrent.
We live in the suburbs of Dallas, and there is a drainage creek here and the neighbors have trees- and so every spring these birds come here and eat at the spring (ditch) and roost in the neighbor’s tree across from our house- they stay through the summer- there are about 4 at least. We go out in the evening to watch them walk the street looking for bugs. They are so tall! Magnificent!

The Orange Cheeked Parrot is a beautiful species. Hardly anyone even knows about due to the absence in aviculture. I will be traveling to northern Peru in hopes of acquiring footage as well. Great job.
