I've been watching you for at least 10 years. I grew up watching my grandad doing surgery on cats and dogs. Whenever I watch your videos it always brings back the same feeling of curiosity and interest that I felt as a kid.
I wasn't in the mood to watch this, I just guess I wasn't prepared. but damn I give it a good listen and will re-listen to it sometime soon. Sometimes that's all you can do. Support the video but not watch it directly... or something.
"The cutest parts are on the outside" sounds like something a snake person would say about why they prefer to eat animals whole. I could also imagine snake people finding it gross that humans dismantle their prey.

This one I think breaks the Gross-o-meter. It feels very humbling to see a rat's body broken down to its constituent parts, and being reminded that we're basically the same: flesh, bone and organs knitted together and floating in goop, with a pretty exterior. I don't think I could do a full dissection like that. The gore aspect wouldn't bother me too much, I think, but the smells would definitely get to me really bad.
