Somewhere between 3.0 and 3.5 for most players. Seems like everyone knew where they should end up on the court but nobody had any clue how to earn their way into that position. Until 7 minutes into the video not a single point made it to the kitchen line. Unforced errors, bad drops, and poor decisions/lack of decision making on 3rd-5th shots created chaos most of the time. When a point got to the kitchen, nobody knew what to do other than get the ball back over the net and not pop it up. You’re gonna learn a lot by watching yourself play though. Keep it up!

I play with this paddle. Has great power! I am a 60 yr old very short female who sometimes plays with 25 yr olds and I back them up everytime with this paddle (especially on my serves). Thanks for the review. It assures me that I didn't waste my money on this paddle.
For the width measurement, I think you need to measure higher up on the head. It is a tapered paddle and the lower portion is not as wide as the top portion before the radius.
I don't care what your testing says. They have both passed USAPA testing and have been approved. That's what I care about. Don't care about decibel testing either. Less than 5 decibel difference is virtually imperceptible to the human ear. Nobody will know the difference. The USAPA has no rules regarding decibals anyway so that's a BS test altogether.
Normally, I add lead tape to the throat but found with this paddle it deadened it up too much. Great paddle right out of the box. Dunno if it’s really an OEM Crbn1 as others have mentioned but it sure feels similar!
The new CRBN Paddles are one of the best out there. I have used my new 1x and it is so nice, It up my game I even called the reps at CRBN this paddle is USAPA Approved. It kicks "B" and asks questions later.
I played with mine for the first time tonight in open play and really liked it, once I adjusted my serve and drives. I especially like it at the kitchen, because dinks, blocks, and volleys are pretty easy due to not having to punch as hard. Just aim and let the paddle to the work. The build quality is pretty good, although I'm pretty sure the edge will get court rash without a guard. Balance is good. The grip is a little small for my hands, so I wrapped with an overgrip. My normal as is a BJ CFS Hyperion 16, which I absolutely love. But I could get spoiled by the power and subdued sound of EVA. I'm a very average player, so no one gives my paddles a second thought. If I were a young gun, I'd bet that this thing would be a little more carefully scrutinized. The is a lot of paddle dev at the moment, but EVA feels like the right direction.
