If funding allowed, would you guy consider hiking/climbing the famous mountains in China. You have shown us the north American landscapes and scenery. We want to see different and beautiful/weird formations of rocks and landscapes in China.
Guys try some ceremonial grade Cacao with honey. Makes swiss miss seem like a waste of time. 2tbsp of cacao per cup for a beginner. Also scrap the oatmeal for some quinoa or amaranth. Much love thanks and respect!
That'll warm you up...any episode of Adventure Archives will do that! ☕Top notch cinematography guys! You really showcased that beautiful landscape as always. Nice to see the return of Andrew the fire God. 👍🔥🏕 Really enjoy when an older song like Memories of Summer makes another appearance. 🙌 The shoutouts were next level! 🤣🤣
Nothing more magical than watching the art of water cascading over boulders. What a fulfilling hiking adventure. Andrew’s narration of plant life is what I look forward to most
Huge thanks to GxAce for help with the shoutout video at the end! You can check out more beautiful cinematic goodness at his channel here: www.youtube.com/@GxAce Tell him that the Sue and Ton will warm you up :)
As I watch this video i couldn’t help but share with you this.. as stories go.. my great great grandfather would go up that hill on his hands with feet in air. He was of coarse Mescalero Apache.. hence the reason the mountains were his home. So many alternate routes to get to peak by the way. But I have made the hike yo dug out in different seasons. That’s more amazing. Even got lost but found my way back.
My great great grandfather lived in cave near the peak. The trail along the way was old butterfield trail. Also the plant purple with yellow center is called trompio( aka. Nightshade family) it’s used a rennet to make milk curdle for cheese making. Love them mountains. My great grandmother and her father Geronimo herded goats out there. There are picture of my family at frijole ranch.
Pitching post we’re put in by my gggrandfather. There is also water rings. Robert nymer took pictures of my family in 1918 when exploring Carlsbad caverns. So much stories. But lots of history that was left out. But were in archives. 🙌🏼
I'm really curious what hat Thomas is wearing in this video. Is it beat up from use, or "distressed?" I'm looking for a replacement for my Tilley that floated somewhere down the Namekagon River... I hope it's continuing to adventure without me :(
Great job guys! This is what backpacking is about for me - enjoying the company and nature. You don’t get lost in gear reviews and pounds and ounces. And you clearly enjoy each other - that’s very satisfying for me to watch. Only specific change I might suggest: the music you select doesn’t fit your videos. Especially the music at the start - it was too ‘macho’ and I almost turned the video off. Overall though - keep up the good work - you’re doing great.
