Great "DAY 2 in HK" episode ! Appreciated Andrew's raw first impressions from his walking tour . You can definitely tell he was embracing the sights, sounds, and smells despite the heat and humidity .
Lots of different travel videos out there. You guys have your own style that is way better then the rest. Kept it interesting and I truly have a different outlook on the place. It's an amazing place.
Another great video. Looking forward to the rest of the series. When I used to travel to Shanghai I always brought 3 or 4 handkerchiefs to wipe my brow. I was always hot!
I can relate to walking past the stores and feeling the cool wind of the air conditioning. In Canto, it's called "Gor Lang Hor"... crossing the cold river.
Number three on the comments. I really look forward to your videos. You guys got me back into the trails, hiking and campling. My sons love camping. Thank you guys for the tranquil videos
Great video Andrew ! I was watching some older AA videosrecently, when you were visiting your families home back in China. Thank you for giving me and others all these impressions and insights from various places and cultures. Keep up the great work.
Wow...I really liked your video...when you visited Kowloon, Temple Street with its classic and unique style of buildings. And I was even surprised when you pointed the camera at a sex shop where no one in Indonesia opened a specialty store to sell those supplies 😂😂😂....anyway...I agree with you that HongKong is an aesthetic city...then when you visited the traditional Hong Kong cafe, I saw a lot of food menus that look so delicious...I want to try them one by one 😄😄...and also when you visit the Avenue of the Stars, it also reminds me of Chinese movies, especially the movies of Jackie Chan in the 90s...and I was also amazed by the statue of Bruce Lee, a legendary actor who I admired when I was a child....and at Man Mo Temple, it also shows very nice ancient buildings and looks very cool...and at night Hong Kong city is very beautiful...I really like it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I lived in Hong Kong in 1985-86 and loved it. It is so fun to see the sights and how everything has changed and a lot remains the same. One of my favorite places. 👍
Welcome to HK, I am your subcriber in Hong Kong, you should invite your friend to hike in HK too, it will be fun. Fun fact: HK is very packed, real estate price is high, but we reserved 40% of our land as country side. HK 's winter is more suitable for you, much cooler...
Wow, very cool. Hong Kong has never been in the list of places that I'd like to visit one day, but it definitely is now. I'd say it's on the top 10. Love it, love it, love it 😄🌃🏙🍛
What a beautiful view. Through this video, I can see what the conditions are like there. HK is quite a busy city, but everything is neatly arranged, and many tourists even visit there. Your content is very useful 🤩
I used to live in HK from 2015-18! It’s my favourite city in the world and such a great place for hiking and exploring the outlying islands; albeit August isn’t exactly hiking season 🥵🥵🥵
Haha, I just sweat a ton! I usually hate humid, hot weather, but I was surprised how little it bothered me on this trip. I think you just stop noticing once you are drenched in sweat
found it interesting, the archetecture, but the thing that strikes me is the crowds, yikes!!! I would die in the first day. to me a city is a city and I dont like cities very much, theya re crowded not much room for nature, and noisy and expensive. is hong kong expensive? do they have a homeless problem? is it true that many people live in a 12 by 12 cage in some of the buildings? I did not notice any obese there, sure there are but not like here. are you guys going to do any more camping/hiking/backpacking this year or maybe next year? has the rest of your gang ever been to china and hong kong?
There are so many outlying islands and rural areas throughout HK to escape to though! I had coworkers who lived on Lamma Island and it was only a 40 minute commute for them to get to work on HK Island - they loved it
