Hi there RU-vidrs. Welcome to my channel on here. I’m from St. Louis Missouri, USA. Currently single & without a girlfriend too. I’m a volunteer for Amtrak outside my regular job too. I love NHL hockey a lot & I go to watch it at hotshots sports bar and grill in Webster groves Missouri. I’m an avid TV game show fanatic and also a big video game person too. I really hope you all enjoy my RU-vid channel and be sure to subscribe to it if you’d like. I’m mostly an avid train watcher or a railfan as they call some people. I am a big music lover and a real huge Dire Straits & Mark Knopfler fan. I plan to try and upload plenty of different daytime and nighttime train vids on here as time goes by if the train happens to be interesting or have a surprise included on it. FYI, I won’t tolerate any rude, negative, or inappropriate type comments on any of my videos here on my channel as they will ultimately be deleted after I review them fully. Thanks.

Really nice catch. The vehicles are new Joint Light Tactical Vehicles which for at least a few more months will be produced by Oshkosh in Wisconsin. These are replacing the HMMWV aka Hummer in the armed forces. This was Union Pacific train S-JAFB-29 (Special Janesville, WI to Fort Bliss, TX) Wisconsin Southern brings them from Oshkosh to Janesville & the UP.

Oh yes it certainly was. Thanks so much. That was a way better and nice comment from you than any of the other rude or even negative comments I’ve been used to seeing and reading from my other fellow RU-vidrs on here many of whom aren’t even my friends here in my hometown city of Saint Louis Missouri anymore and this is also in regards to quite a few of my latest train videos especially ones like this one of Amtrak passenger trains with rare hard to find locomotives leading on them. Even now I wish I could move out of Saint Louis Missouri to another city like in Illinois or up in Canada but it’s virtually impossible for me to do plus without a passport I can’t even get up to Canada anyways.

Yes, that is true basically with all of the current bnsf geometry trains that we get lucky enough to see around here and in other parts of the United States today where bnsf operates their own special trains much like this one. For me this was still a rare sight to catch in downtown Saint Louis and it sort of caught me by surprise that evening here at Cerre street too. On a good note, I have seen this same bnsf geometry train on the bnsf Cuba sub which runs from bnsf’s lindenwood yard here in Saint Louis off interstate 44 and goes out west to Springfield Missouri a few times in years past. I got it on video a couple of those times that I did manage to catch it on the Cuba sub too most notably at Lindbergh Blvd located near Kirkwood Missouri. Bnsf does have another 2 car geometry train which is way neater & better looking than this one and it does not use any type of a buffer car up front at all between its passenger cars and the locomotive. I don’t believe I have seen that particular one yet around here in my hometown of Saint Louis Missouri or anywhere over in Illinois if I go there but I hope to see it someday. My pal Scott Nauert has caught it before on some of the rail lines around here though. Thanks again for your kind comment on this video of mine.

Yes this classic Amtrak P42 number 69 sure does look stunning in the new latest Amtrak phase 7 paint scheme. The newer Amtrak ALC-42 long distance Siemens charger locomotives are also painted up in this exact same phase 7 paint scheme. I’ve seen quite a few of those ALC-42 long distance charger engines that look like this out at the Effingham Illinois and the Centralia Illinois Amtrak stations on the daily Amtrak city of New Orleans trains 58 and 59’which both operate between Chicago to New Orleans. I know I love this new scheme a lot too. In my opinion it is way more better and more colorful than the older scheme like what the trailing P42 number 55 on this train is still wearing. Thanks so much for your nice comment on it here in this video of mine.

Thank you so much. I always appreciate good and nice comments from you among many others on any of my train and railroad videos I’m able to take with my iPhone 14 Plus and its accompanying camera during the times I am not working at my job or relaxing at home with my family. I will always love and enjoy getting out and watching trains basically every single night as long as I don’t have any music concerts or sporting events to go to here in my hometown of St. Louis Missouri or if let’s say I’m away on vacation. My iPhone actually does better at taking videos and even still pictures during the daytime compared to that of the nighttime. I’m glad you saw this P42 number 69 on the Texas eagle even before it got painted up in the new phase IIV scheme which in my opinion is way better and more colorful too. I saw this P42 number 69 many times on the Texas eagle as well throughout the past years when it was still in its regular Amtrak paint scheme.

You are certainly right about that @rupak-travelmoments. Thank you for your comment on this video of mine. I love watching trains at night. I myself knew I wanted to catch this beautiful Norfolk Southern SD70ACE héritage unit this night especially since it got a new fresh “Virginian” black & yellow full repaint job earlier this year or last year. It came by here at the Belleville north belt west grade crossing by the sky view drive-in one minute before 11:30 pm central time. I’d say this unit NS #1069 the “Virginian” is my second favorite and rather colorful one out of all 11 of just the SD70ACE heritage units that Norfolk Southern Railway owns and operates. Norfolk Southern also owns 10 ES44AC Gevo type heritage units painted up to honor their respective long gone since many years ago fallen flag railroads or current railroads among lots of other historic things. My number one favorite Norfolk Southern SD70ACE heritage unit out of all of them would probably have to be the “Jersey Central” unit #1071 that’s painted up in orange and blue colors. I’m from St. Louis Missouri here in the USA btw, but I also really love Canada and all of their NHL hockey teams and almost all its railroads up there too although Canadian national and Canadian pacific motive power can be very common around here in both Missouri and especially over in the heart of central Illinois.

Very nice video, this is a very rare move. What you witnessed was the deactivation of a unit and the movement of its equipment from their base to another. In particular this is part of the decommissioning of US Navy's ACB 2 (Amphibious Construction Battalion), during which most of the battalion’s equipment is being shipped to from ACB 2 @ Fort Eustis, VA to ACB 1 based in San Diego, California. At this point in time ACB-1 would become the only unit of its type in service in the Navy. The auto-racks are carrying just that civilian type cars, vans, pickups. The containers are just Quad-Con type they can be used as single or 4 tied together to form a 20' container there are also Tri-Cons and Bi-Cons. They are used for anything and everything you can imagine, but this unit wouldn't be hauling ammunition with them. The weird steel shaped objects are part of Modular Causeway System (MCS) made from steel, they are linked together to build a 1,800' long floating pier that can be assembled in various configurations. The most important being the Trident pier which allows ships to directly offload onto the pier and then drive directly onto the beachhead.

Heck yeah! And I do truly thank you very much for your kind and wonderful comment there. I would recommend this location of Centralia Illinois and other cities and towns along the Canadian National Chicago to New Orleans mainline as great places to go visit to watch their own trains go by. Here at Centralia Illinois however the dull part is most of Canadian Nationals rail traffic is all northbound trains. Canadian National only has about 2 to 3 southbound freight trains that run the mainline through here daily. Only other 2 railroads that operate thru here at Centralia Illinois which don’t run that many trains are Bnsf railway, and Norfolk Southern although they do tend to get boring after a while. Amtrak on the other hand operates and stops here at Centralia Illinois 6 times daily between Chicago Illinois, Carbondale Illinois, and also New Orleans Louisiana. Effingham Illinois Amtrak station the next stop north of here is a much better spot I would say to watch way more Canadian National freight trains cause they don’t operate that many of their southbound trains thru centralia Illinois as most of their southbound trains which originate from Homewood Illinois or sometimes at Champaign Urbana Illinois use the Bluford District 14 miles south of Effingham illinois and continue on it south to Fulton Kentucky were they rejoin the mainline to New Orleans. CSX also crosses the CN line right there at the Effingham Illinois Amtrak station on a double tracked set of diamonds. I usually do not tolerate rude, bad, or at times negative comments from others on here about my own videos especially when they involve freight trains with my favorite kind of Canadian motive power whether it would be Canadian National, or Canadian Pacific locomotives. I may not be from Canada or born and raised up in Canada but I still love Canada a lot. I was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri here in the USA. Canada getting back to that has 6 of the best NHL hockey teams up there that I really like although I should also include the Buffalo Sabres as a 7th Canadian NHL hockey team of theirs too since they are literally right near the USA/Canadian border up in Buffalo New York and I even found out on Wikipedia that they do sing both the USA and Canadian national anthems up there in Buffalo New York at their hometown arena known as the KeyBank Center before all Buffalo Sabres home games regardless if the visiting NHL hockey team is Canadian or American. Still my number one favorite Canadian NHL hockey team is the Montreal Canadiens who have still won the biggest number of Stanley cups in the NHL which still stands at 24. My other favorite NHL hockey teams up there include the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa Senators, and (even though they are in the same division as the St. Louis blues my hometown NHL hockey team are in) I should also include the Winnipeg Jets. And they certainly do have a way better national anthem up in Canada compared to the USA national anthem. Thanks again, and I hope answered a lot for you.

@@elijahglasser1421 very nice. Thanks for your reply comments here. And I forgot to add this info about the 5 to 6 other NHL Canadian based hockey teams up there in Canada. We know Montreal is the number one best probably forever with the most Stanley cups which is 24. The Toronto maple leafs have won 13 Stanley cups, then the Edmonton oilers have won 5 Stanley cups which is just as great. Now the Calgary Flames sadly have only won 1 Stanley cup just like the St. Louis blues won back in 2019. Now on the other not so good side of this, the Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa senators, Winnipeg Jets, and also even the Buffalo Sabres have not won any Stanley cups yet at all for Canada but hopefully they will win their first Stanley cup soon in the many future years ahead. I was always told to keep in mind by my dad that if it wasn’t for Canada we wouldn’t have the NHL aka “national hockey league” here in the United States or up in Canada which will always be my number one favorite sport. Major League Baseball in my opinion sucks which is why I hardly ever watch it in person or live on TV like I do with NHL hockey.

Very nice video! Typically KCS trains from what was Fort Polk, LA (Now Fort Johnson) at this time were D-FPVN (Venice, IL CSX) with the final 2 digits being the day she let Fort Polk. The equipment is from 1st Brigade Combat Team; 82nd Airborne returning to Fort Liberty, NC from Joint Readiness Training Center - Training Rotation 23-02 @ Fort Johnson, LA. Now the fun part I'm assuming that CSX modified the power on this train. Cutting off the NS unit, cutting in #4041 as a mid train loco and putting KCS ET44AC #5013 on the point.
