Proverbs 28:13-14 KJV He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. [14] Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. Hebrews 3:12-13 KJV Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. [13] But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Pharisees were just Jewish religious people who later became the Rabbis. How do you mean they were hypocritical? You have said they were monitoring Jesus for whether he was an teacher who followed Jewish scripture. How is any of this hypocritical
@@user-dr3dk1hd5o that's all we ask and you're toys are you're toys we don't wanna play with you're toys and be told we're wrong if we don't just because you believe in nonsense doesn't give you the right to condemn other people who don't hold the same beliefs you don't get to take the moral high ground
Substitute theology unfortunately is heresy. He took our sins onto himself and in response we are called to share in the sufferings of Christ each day.
My friend had her 19 year old son shot in a car jacking. I told her, I can't know what you are feeling but the Mary knows as she watched her son die on a cross. She was special to God, chosen to carry him in her womb and give birth in humble circumstances. Both she and Joseph had been told by angels that he was coming and that John was to be coming before Him. Joseph and Mary found him in the Tenmple. At a wedding Mary had him turn water into wine. Both Mary and Joseph were the earthly parents to our Savior. They were special to God and Jesus, the Son of God and should be special to those who love Jesus. ❤️
First of all, "Luke" didn't write Luke. The canonical gospels are all anonymous. Everything written in that gospel is hearsay and any claims made about eye-witnesses is still just hearsay. There is only one eye-witness account claiming to have seen risen Jesus and that's Paul, who never met Jesus. 0 eye-witnesses for a bodily resurrection.
Matthew 13:18-23 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty
God spoke with me many times with my pastor. I didn't obey& broken commendments. It leads someone's life affected. Sin leads to disease/death. I lost my life, health.
Leviticus 25:44-46 Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly. This is chattel slavery they are slaves for life and (not free to ever leave as stated ) that only applied to Hebrew slaves. In fact generation after generation are born into slavery with no choice. The laws governing non-Hebrew slaves were more harsh than those governing Hebrew slaves: non-Hebrew slaves could be owned permanently, and bequeathed to the owner's children, whereas Hebrew slaves were treated as servants, and were released after six years of service or the occurrence of a jubilee year. Treat your slaves as brothers you say : Exodus 21:20-21 Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, 21 but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property. There are at least seven passages in the Bible where God is depicted as directly permitting or endorsing slavery. Two of these are in the Law of Moses: God permitted the Israelites to take slaves from conquered peoples permanently, and the Israelites could sell themselves into slavery temporarily to pay off debts (Exod 21:2-11; Lev 25:44-46). The other five passages are in the New Testament, where slavery as a social institution is endorsed and slaves are called to obey their masters “in everything” (Eph 6:5-9; Col 3:22-4:1; 1 Tim 6:1-2; Tit 2:9-10; 1 Pet 2:18-20). Owning slaves was seen as a sign of God’s blessing (Gen 12:16; 24:35; Isa 14:1-2), and there are literally dozens of passages in the Bible that speak of slavery in passing, without comment.
