I appreciate such videos I truly do. But while this video was useful for making me AWARE of the variety, it proved utterly useless for helping me identify one when searching through 1888-O and 1889-O Morgans. It would have been immensely better if you had included a magnified photo of the "Oval O" mintmark side-by-side with a magnified photo of a standard O mintmark. Why did this not occur to you? Good grief...
*The Moral to this story...DO NOT spend serious money on ANY Coin that has not been Authenticated by PCGS, NGC or ANACS...And I would probably exclude ANACS from the list of truly expensive coins*
*Biggest MISTAKE Coin Grading Services have ever made was inventing and then slabbing, "Details" Coins.. They have totally undermined their own credibility, and are well on their way to RUINING the Business/Hobby we call Numismatics. Currently there are a LOT people selling "Details" coins, for BIG Money, on Feebay. Somebody needs to have a chat, with these so called "Coin Dealers", about the definition of Fraud & Price Gouging, and the true cost of their pandering & greed*

Hello. Secondary to Mailman stick ups, I found it difficult to trust sending coins to be graded. I would like to recommend that a person be doing the grading right in the Heritage Auctions location. That way people could just bring the coins to Heritage, be graded and sold all in one place, and without the risk of any getting lost during transit. Thanks.

I have a Bicentennial Quarter that has an error on the reverse, the letters ITED in United are all connected at the top but can`t find anyone mentioning this kind of error also have one that has doubling on United States of America.
If only the graders would watch these videos. I've several examples of poorly struck coins with MS66/67 grades. Mostly foreign, which they don't seem to know what a well struck coin should look like.
