Every first responder in this video was hopefully fired. This is NOT how a wellness check is performed! I hope the family sued the city because they didn’t even try!!!! Please don’t run a car or use any gas tanks in a closed space
As a kid/teen I went to adventure land at least 8 times. The park is so poorly run and a bunch of my classmates worked there at one point. Most of the staff were young kids. The parks fallen into disrepair. As a teen I was even remember looking at some of the rides and noticed them being rusty and dripping with grease. Most rides are incredibly old. Im 99% certain there is rotting wood on the wooden roller coaster the Tornado. To be honest I’m surprised there is not more tragedies. If I remember a worker also lost his life on that ride too a few years prior 55:46
I was driving through this long drawn out storm on my was from Ohio to Dallas. I didnt think nothing of it. But we did lose power at our house. So we drove to Beaumont to find power.
*17:22* In case anyone is wondering, this sign says, "You, the train from hell. Don't come back. You're no longer welcome here." The Quebecois are passionate people and it comes off in this sign. R.I.P. to all those that lost their lives and hope those affected are doing well.
My God he fell over 2,000 feet, makes me wonder if he knew he wasn't coming off that mountain alive. Why would you attempt to climb any mountain unequipped without any kind of safety gear. Atleast he didn't have to suffer like a lot of cancer patients do but either way it's just sad.
honestly i have really fond memories of this. it was one of the first times i was able to experience actual snow, as the other rare times it snowed in texas i was either really little or it was barely anything, i know this screwed up a lot of things but i was able to spend a couple nights at my friend's house, he had power and everything bc he lived right next to a hospital. a couple of pipes bursted and flooded a couple rooms, but besides that atleast for me it wasnt too bad
I'd argue and say that the boys shouldn't necessarily be heroes, since they unwittingly caused the disaster. That said, what they did ended up nipping the bud as it were of a much larger incident later down the line. So perhaps they were but they at the end of it all were victims of misadventures.
Extremely disappointed in the government do better and help us be prepared more. It was a set up for failure. All states in America need to have homes prepared for ANY type of weather. Period.
No doubt you, as an American, have given equal attention in one of your other vlogs to an incident where your country's military pilots at another location in Italy (February 3, 1998 at the Italian winter resort of Cavalese near Trento) completely ignored the regulations. At that time, the twin-engine battle machine, designed primarily to search for and destroy air defense radars, flew about a hundred meters above the ground, just because the crew wanted to have fun and take nice shots of the Dolomites. Dead: eight Germans, five Belgians, three Italians, two Poles, one Austrian and one Dutch. Although the Italian side repeatedly requested the United States to extradite the pilots for criminal prosecution, unfortunately (as is usually the case with you) this never happened🤢
There is a difference between bravery n foolishness... May his soul rest in peace God already given lots of hints not to move forward.. First he was behind the scheduled time. 2.left his food at home 3.couple didn't move forward as he was not fully prepared 4.Rope way not visible. 5.slippery condition 6.God said good bye
On Wiki I read: "There was one suspected death due to radiation, as one person died 4 years later of a lung cancer possibly triggered by it..." This among about 18.000 death as a result of the Tsunami.
I remember this like no other since I live in Texas, I had just gotten home from school after my brother came to pick me up, saying both our parents had gotten Covid. Since we were exposed, but not sick, we still had to quarantine. I was not about to do virtual schooling again for 2 weeks before it was safe for me to go back, so I was praying for something to happen. And then 2 more weeks off school with NO work because of a snow storm. Granted my recalling is much more positive but that’s just how I remember it.
According to people that worked at that site during the time. Three out of four trucks that went to love Canal were painted army green and US soldiers were driving! It’s easier to sue a company than it is the government!
