If you have not already got the Model 3 or Model Y yet, you should get the Model 3, because it was improved a lot in the 2023 model. but you really should get it in January of 2025 from Hertz, because they sell them for the least amount of money and as long as you qualify you can get it for 4,000 less with the used EV tax credit because it's technically 2 years old .
Great review! One question. At 20:24 you mention the rear screen controls the back seats and can make the them lean back. Then at 20:58 you say the back seats don’t recline. Seems contradictory. Were you saying that the back screen leans back? Thanks!
I received an invite for my Cybertruck yesterday. I placed a reservation a year ago, with reservation number RN11929*****. I wonder if everyone is canceling their reservations; otherwise, how did I get mine so quickly? How much time do I have to place the order before my invite expires? I also have to choose between a white or gray interior... the white looks nicer, though. I want to go for the best version.
Few like it, but I do. I told an Uber driver the other day I really like it. He goes, you're a first to say that. I'm like, it's science fiction in real world and kinda looks like a pyramid on wheels making it very different. He said, it's the new status symbol no one likes. Still no Cybertruck Uber for the vehicle is too expensive. Maybe in a couple years when they're used and lower cost.
Own a Bolt and a Model 3. Tesla offers too few options. Many Model 3 RWD owners would gladly pay more for premium audio. Nope. I think the new car buying process for Tesla is overrated, but the used car buying process by Tesla is the absolutely worst in the industry. Who else requires a non-refundable deposit on a used car you won't be able to test drive or even see in real life or by photo?
You can turn off the ambient engine noise to make the car even quieter. I thought the Info and driver screens were fantastic. The Google OS is awesome, too. I don't know why so many people are fixated on Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. My last car had them and I never used them. With the AWD, the torque/horsepower is more than enough. The interior is excellent quality overall. Many cars have hard plastic in the rear doors. The front storage area under the HVAC controls is air conditioned to keep your phone cold. It should come with wireless charging, but I may add a pad to do that. I believe the narrow storage well closest to the driver is for like a wallet, pens and such. Wife's purse fits perfectly in the lower storage area under the center console. Overall this is a damn fine car. Just put a down payment on a 2LT. Didn't get the Supercruise, though because it requires a subscription once the trial runs out. Kind of wish I could swing it, but it's a $2700 dollar option plus after a few years $350 a year.
Maybe the Chevy knows no one would use self parking to pull into an empty lot. While I haven’t tried this with my Equinox EV I would probably look for a lot with some cars in it. Hopefully it wont park me on top of a car like it did with you and the curb!
If I were coasting down the freeway with the exploring the universe sound in the background, 100% I will hit the one tree in the desert 🤣 those sounds combined with a car are an unal1ving machine 🙈
I'm not going to lie. GM built a better EV truck than Tesla in many aspects. However, Tesla has that new Uniqe look. Again, I'm not knocking traditional trucks, but we need some new styles, in my opinion. From many videos the range is better than the tesla and charges even faster than a tesla. The only think holding me back is the price, also I wish they didn't go so round with everything but I know why they did aerodynamics. I like the box look of GM and chevy, even ford has that sleek look, but a mans truck is blocky in my opinion.
Great video. Thanks! I just got my first tesla a few weeks ago and got FSD with it (12.3.6). As a FSD lover...but also with 4 strikes against me already...I can't wait for 12.4.3. I still don't understand how FSD disengaged me so many times. I make sure to be watching the road to the point that I don't notice the flashing warning on the screen. It happens even when I know my hands are on the wheel. Maybe they aren't on strongly enough. Another question I have is that several times when I have reached my destination and FSD says it has completed, it still brings up the message asking to record why I disengaged it. Thanks!.
im torn between the two for leasing, ioniq 6 SE is $239/mo ($4k down, or works out to $269/mo if a $3k down), while the model 3 highland basic is $299/mo with $3k down. located in southern california, which is a better car and deal?
I have driven the Equinox EV and Blazer EV. I found the interior trim panels to be very thin and flexible compared to my 2019 Equinox. Like they are trying to save weight and plastic with the new construction and it really made the interior parts that don’t get as much touch feel really cheap. The textured panel at the front of the dash on the Equinox EV had so much flex I’d be worried applying pressure when cleaning it. Does the Silverado have similar issues?
One irritating thing is that the Model 3 doesn't have the summon function, which the Ioniq has. Where I am there are lots of narrow parking spaces and that feature allows one to get into and out of the car with dignity
I think the car got over fine. It saw the cop out of his car and walking on the grass. Therefore no need to get over 2 more feet. Another instance the car could see better than human and better decision.
Great review. You are the first reviewer that I've found who answered the question, does Super Cruise read and adjust to speed limit signs? (It does not read signs, unfortunately). Maybe that's something that will come in future versions.
Which is weird as even my cheap Ford Focus does it which isn't even promotes its system that much, yet it basically does everything this magical super cruise does, and little bit better.
Looks like the truck is in transport mode to dealer. It doesn't let everything work. Out of spec reviews says this is the only truck out that can do all the things a truck buyer would want to do.
Got my chevy bolt finally. I love it. 2017 and feels more modern than any Telsa. I don't think I would ever go with them-- no physical buttons, no AA, no QA. I don't think I would trust a domestic manufacturer more than Tesla and that's all that should be said.
Looks like the Silverado is for truck drivers who want a better truck experience. The Cybertruck is for people who want to know what it feels to be a truck driver.
I get that. The GM system is really nice if you give it a chance. I never missed CarPlay in my Model 3. I have it now in my Equinox and like it but losing it isn’t a dealbreaker, for me. As long as GM pulls through with OTA down the line I think it will keep getting better.
To answer your question on the frunk. The European version of the IONIQ 6 RWD has a 45 Liter front trunk that is more like the Tesla's. The US versions do not have the frunk and I suspect is because they didn't want to add an internal release which is mandatory by some stupid US law. No AWD version of the IONIQ 6 have that large frunk because the front motor takes up that space.
@@DerekDavis213 I'm thinking to start FSD, someone needs to be in the Driver's seat or FSD won't go, Elon knows it's too dangerous for no one to be in the Driver's seat right now Probably FSD in another 2 years 🤔 🤣 🤭 😆 🙄 🤦♂
