i want one but i have 18 cats in my patio, do you think they can damage it with their claws? I saw another review and the guy said even dogs can scratch it and it's very visible..
My apologies I havnt been on this for a while so only just seen those questions, I just out this on another comment: I think I have noticed some condensation on the outside when it's very cold but its not effected me for what I store inside, I will look at this winter and try add an update comment.
I'm getting one so your video is going to help me immensely 👍thanks sir....you are a gentleman 😁..... where did you get the plastic base from ?.... I've been looking for it but can't find anything that's slightly bigger to set the shed on 🥺....if you could pass on your wisdom I would very much appreciate it 🙏👍
Mine was just off ebay, I only went with the one I did because of the price of it was reasonable at the time, but just search for GARDEN SHED BASE KIT or Plastic grid, you may need to cut some down to make it fit. Just look at the sizes available and do some calculations to see how many you need, etc. Make sure to start at the front and work back so any cuts are hidden/less noticeable.
Great video. I have just started assembling this shed and have the exact same issues with some of the floor screws not 'biting' into the plastic. It seems like there are frequent quality issues on all these plastic/resin sheds. Doesn't matter what brand. As there are supply chain issues for getting replacement pieces; I am going to run a bead of epoxy glue down on the mating floor pieces, fill the screw holes with epoxy, add the screws and press on. Hopefully, this will secure the floor together.
There are fixing holes so you can position the base, mark the hole locations on the ground and, drill though and use some sort of anchor bolt (I.e.concrete expansion or wedge-bolt) to secure it down. Mine is just held down by the weight of the stuff inside it, not had any issues in the 2 years I've had it installed.
Yes but I would probably recommend things like that in an insulated shed/building so you could use year round. Also I personalle wouldn't put anything too valuable inside as a determined criminal would be able to get into it.
1) yes still good, only issue I have is with the sliding lock at the top and bottom of the left side door, its not the best at staying screwed into the inside of the door, but I rarely open that side so usually not an issue. I think I replaced the screws for these locks but I did a while back so can't remember exactly what I did. 2) I think I have noticed some condensation on the outside when it's very cold but its not effected me for what I store inside, I will look at this winter and try add an update comment. 3) The floor come with it, not the mesh base I put down which I filled with the stones, that I got off eBay, not particular seller, loads of options on there and other sites. But you can also put this on slabs, etc. Just needs to be flat and level.
@@melsagelord3991 oh nope, see shortly after asking that question I bought one, built it. Was great for 2 months then the UK got battered with unusually high levels of wind. I even had 20-30 flagstones stored inside it. Wind ripped it all to pieces after 2 days, with exception to the floor since I had the flagstones on it.
Sorry to hear what happened to yours @Land967, I've never had any issues since I have had it, mine is only held down by the weight of the things inside it as Mel suggested. There are anchor points inside but these again only hold the floor down, the floor should then hold the rest down.

It was not fit for purpose unfortunately, the wood was mostly rotten and in my view not very well assembled. I also wanted something low/zero maintenance.
Lovely Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard about - Mahorrla Wooden Paradise Method (probably on Google)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for building better sheds and woodworking minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my buddy after a lifetime of fighting got great results with it.
Sorry not been on this for a long time! It can be up against the fence but ideally needs to be built away to get the roof panels in then move to the final position.
Kudos for the Video! Apologies for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Mahorrla Wooden Paradise Method (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for building better sheds and woodworking without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend finally got great results with it.
Hi, it is very stable, and heavy, we have had some strong winds recently, and it's not moved, all the main parts are well bolted together so they are not coming apart. The finished shed weights approx 180kg. (It came in 3 boxes, these are the weights including the packaging: Box 1: 48.5kg,, Box 2: 68kg & Box 3: 79.5kg) Google translate to spanish (Sorry if there are mistakes) Traductor de Google al español (perdón si hay errores): Hola, es muy estable y fuerte, hemos tenido algunos vientos fuertes recientemente y no se ha movido, todas las partes principales están bien atornilladas para que no se deshagan. El cobertizo terminado pesa aproximadamente 180 kg. (Viene en 3 cajas, estos son los pesos, incluido el embalaje: Caja 1: 48,5 kg, Caja 2:68 kg y Caja 3: 79,5 kg)
Hi, I have not used anything, it is just sitting on top on the plastic grid base. There are holes in the shed floor which you can use to secure it to the ground if you want, but it weighs approx 180KG without anything inside so I don't think it will go anywhere unless you have very band winds)
Hi, it was just on earth/soil, I did compact some bits off camera which were bit soft so the ground was mostly level and hard. Than i put waterproof membrane, than gravel (as I needed it a bit higher), than plastic base filled with 20mm sharp gravel.
@@RobertAgarHutton no that I bought separate. If you are building on slabs that are level, you should be able to build straight on it, if you are building on earth or grass, you need a base, either like the plastic base I used filled with gravel, or you need to put down slabs/block paving or pour a concrete base. The shed does have a floor which the side panels bolt into, but you need solid and level ground. Before you start. Final note, make the the base is bigger then the shed, I recommend 6 inches to 12 inches in each direction.
P.s. search for plastic base, there are many out there and make sure you check what size gravel you need as different ones need different sizes of gravel.
Good video! How are you finding the shed in terms of quality and structure. I am looking to replace my 8x12 timber shed and came across the Keter Factor, would be good to hear your thoughts on pros & cons?
It's generally good, no real issues using it, I've seen some birds make a mess on it but after a rain, it all came off, so glad its low maintenance. On the cons side, I was struggling to find extra shelves etc for it and when putting together some screws don't seem to hold very well/don't grip, particularly for the floor, although it's not been a major issue. The structural ones went in ok, just make sure to put in carefully. I would recommend that if you use the plastic base, you try keep the gravel all below the level of the base so it is easier to move if you need to.
hi, for outlook 2013 you no longer need to install Hotmail connector so just add your live account as you normally would. The contacts can be seen accessed from the "People" tab at the bottom on outlook 2013, most of the rest should be the same hopefully. good luck and let me know if you still have issues.
The contacts on your windows phone will actually be stored on the primary e-mail account, the windows live one you set up on it. If you are not sure which that is, on your windows phone, go to settings, click on email+accounts, and it should be the first one in there. all you need to do is sync the contacts from this e-mail with your Samsung S4, I can't put links in this post, but try searching online for "Mobile Outlook android app" and it should be one of the top results, it's a Microsoft site, on there there's an android section with some instructions. good luck!
First why goto an iphone!! Lol second, if you have Microsoft office on your pc, just follow the instructions in my other video(link in description under this video) once contacts are in outlook, you can use itunes to sync with outlook contacts i may try make a second video in the next week or so to show this process. But no guarantees...very busy these days!!
I have all up to date contacts in my Nokia Lumia 800, which I am using currently. I am buying I Phone 5 and need to transfer all 1700 contacts on that. how do I do it? i had tried to save all contacts on LIVE.COM. didnt work.
I have a Nokia Lumia 800. Tried all but only half contacts uploadedi in live account Now I have to buy another phone I dont know how to transfer all....to ne phone. I have some 1700 contacs.
HELP PLEASE!!!! I have a nokia lumia 920 and I had a nokia X6 before (just like in your video). I did the same procedure on the videe and copied texts and contacts, but then when I go to my contacts i don't seem to have the actual list, only if i go to search and start searching a name in particular. WTH? Can anyone please help me out? Thanks
You Microsoft Outlook? if so, sign into (you may need a plugin - see my other video (link in description above). Once loaded you can manage contacts; delete, change, etc. Side effect: your birthday notifications may also be duplicated, even after deleting a duplicate contact, so go to: calendar.live.com , login & delete duplicates again, else whenever you get a birthday notification, it will pop-up twice, can get annoying! Good luck!
hi, when switching from lumia to another, just login on the new device with your live/hotmail account and all your contacts will automatically load onto that phone! no need for any special transfer methods.
Sorry for the very delayed response, I only noticed your comment now: Go to microsoft outlook, sign into the hotmail/live/Microsoft account which you set up on your Lumia phone, and all your contacts will show on outlook, once it's in outlook you can easily transfer to any other device using the desktop manager for Blackberry or any other device for that matter. You can also edit the contacts in outlook as required.
