Motor oil works the best for making sure surfaces don't adhere to the concrete. I have approached local mechanics and asked for some used oil and they were happy to give it away.
Thanks for the info. Looking at the online reviews of this machine shows what you said. It does have an issue with damaging the peas. So not worth the price.
You must have a Special Charger, my (New) 80V battery takes 1.5 hrs to charge. Changing the string is simple, just like all other bump head trimmers. Now, my trimmer is NEW (less than a notch) and it stopped making eye nice “Whirr” noice and it’s making a grinding noise, very annoying. Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of help for this trimmer on line and I’m puzzled on what is causing this noise, it’s not the normal operating noise.
Melamine for your frame works wonders when it's time to release the mold from the concrete. It's a little pricey, but saves a lot of time foe the project. Your container looks great!
Hi, I loved your video, you make it look really easy. I'm going to try it. If I wanted the same hedge but 8-10 feet, would I use longer willow whips to make a larger arch with appropriate stronger stick posts? Or would your dimensions still bring me to 8-10 ft in time . Thanks
Nice job on the video. I’m considering building a mold also and found your step by step very helpful. Thank you for sharing, lessons learned, etc. cheers!
I'm having a hard time getting a consistent answer on the best type of willow to use to build a fence like this. What is the common name for the type of willow you are using here?

My Maple is Older, It's been Growing in The Same Spot for the last 25 Years, just found it growing in My Yard on May 1, 1998. Hows The Pine coming along?
Sending good vibes to The Pine by singing to it. It's about as tall as mine, But yes it is a Success that it lived and is even a Pine out of the 8 You Started with. 7 of them didn't make it.
you could also use a masonry disc on an angle grinder to get the concrete "bumps," but much better to float the top with a trowel after filling with concrete. Also, a thin rebar length should be used to get the bubbles out, like in the old days.
My living fence is two years old. The first year it looked good. This past summer, v ery little growth .I never knew that pruning was a possibility or was necessary. My sticks are still very thin and not branching out. What should I be doing? L
I made a planter like this 10 years ago. I used 4 bags of cement each weighing 92 lbs. after it was finished I could not move it. You better cast it where it’s going to sit forever.
