Is this harvest in the fall or spring? I’m trying to figure out the best place on my property to plant willow. I’d like it out of sight, does it require full sun? I’m enjoying your channel, watching you create is inspiring.

In the winter. Usually December or January. Mine grows under a pecan tree. It just needs wet soil. Thanks!!

Any update on the willow structure you did last year? I am planning on doing something similar

If so, I hope you have a lot of willow to pick from. Make sure you pick the straightest pieces. If you can pick pieces all of the same length/diameter, that would help. It will make building your structure more predictable and regular. Unless you're going for herky-jerky hobbit-style, then get whatever you want.
