@soaxin7439 - this isn't hard but complicated as there are lot of pieces u have to uninstall to get to one bolt under the throttle body or front facing for the radiator. If you take your time and go piece by piece you will be fine.
This such sad how companies mading car radios and making rules and contracts with app companies just for the business.... Can't watch RU-vid because of safety of driving that's right it make sense but they didn't make enough job to secure that because people found easy way how to hack this as the priorities number 1. For safety should be the easiest way to set up any car devices brightness and dark themes and maps dark moods (waze , goggle map's and others) ... But is so complicated can't switch my Google maps to dark mood also waze after long time searching I found how to do it but every time when I need dark mood need to connect with cable to my radio and do some settings to make it work at least Google maps... When I disconnected cable and connected back I need to do again play with settings and switch to dark mode sometimes it works sometimes doesn't .. is so complicated even with this video I was following all steps and it still didn't work.... Also I have dark theme brightness on lowest level and is still so bright where is here safety when brightness from radio flashing to the eyes at the night ? That's should be all Iligal so unsafe but good for businessesmans that's why I will have to return already my second radio because of dark themes, brightness, dark mode maps problems .... Authorities should stopped to be focuse on their business wake up and setup the roles about it no one should be allowed to open factory production with car radios till Safety problems not going to be fixed Thanks for the video ❤️
Hi Shezi, do you recommend going to iridium plugs on a 2015 VW Jetta 2.0L gas sohc.? I was having engine misfire & flashing check engine light sometimes when I was driving and accelerating, so I replaced my spark plugs, spark plug wires and ignition coil as well. Instead of putting in Bosch FR7HE02 which I saw in couple of youtube videos and which are Nickel plugs, I put in NGK ZFR6FIX-11 which are Iridium plugs, Also I replaced the wires with Denso Ignition wire set and Ignition Coil with NGK Ignition Coil. I don't have engine misfire or flashing check engine light anymore but I can hear like a sparking sound after some time when the engine starts. Do you know where I went wrong? Also in some videos they say the recommended gap is .043 but this video says OEM gap is .032 I'm so confused because I ordered the plugs with a gap of .044 Please advise
From my research I found the happy to be. 032 unless you have turbo then it's different. German card are notorious for throwing it errors it act certain way for small things. I would try to use Bosch if the sound or issue remains
I have a question. I swapped the nav unit in a mini year 2013 because the old Nav would not work. I ran an update using im608 pro from Autel. Looked like it coded all the modules in with latest software only the nav unit still doesnt work. The display works, and the radio works etc etc. The nav unit doesnt show maps though. I believe I have to extract the FSC codes from the old nav unit and write them into this unit. Does anyone know how to do this?
So if you have the similar module and ambient lighting you can try that value and see what happens. Just take a screen shot so you revert back. Based on the Idrive version and model the actual component may be listed differently.
Thanks for sharing. It’s not true that you have to replace the brake pad wear sensor with new and it’s not true that it measures the mileage. On some cars there is a service counter for brakes which can be reset, but not all cars have this and it’s not the pad wear sensor that controls this. The pad wear sensor is merely a circuit, think of it as a switch, which is only made when the plastic is worn down by the disc and metal then touches metal. This is what brings on the pad warning light. If the sensor is intact, no need to replace with new!
@@FredCarney I’m not sure which metal clip you are referring to. The sensor needs to be replaced if it has triggered the warning light. This is only activated when the plastic bump has been worn down enough to expose the wire inside it, when the wire touches the disc and is eventually broken, thus causing an open circuit which brings on the pad warning light. Like I say, some cars have the option to reset a service indicator for pads, by all means reset that once you have replaced the pads, if your car has that function.
@@Ally.MacMillan Got it. The alarm is not triggered unless the plastic has worn away. If you put that sensor back in place the alarm would immediately come back on. I suppose you could leave the sensor uninstalled. Thanks for the reply.
@allymacmillan7986 - sensor also has wear life and as sensor starts to wear the mileage will go down to 0. Sensor should be replaced with each brake job, best practice. Putting in new pads and old sensor or no sensor would have to get annoying with all message on Idrive and instrument cluster as well.
@@SheziMotorsport I have to disagree with you on this one. There is only a wire loop inside there which triggers the light when it’s broken by contacting the disc, through worn pads.
So at 4:58 took you an eternity to push those clips and cut the video? 😂😂 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--krslrOxcHU.htmlsi=LU3uI9r707n0o96K
I just got one of these for my Honda. Why only 3 icons across? Mine is the same. EVERY OTHER picture I see of this model shows 4 icons across. Just curious.
I got cbr 929rr fireblade and for the first time yesterday it keeps stalling im havin a lil oil leak wit coolant liquid as well...what could b the issu???
Is it possible to change the ambilight of the frontseats in the back? I mean the orange or white light in the seat from the front but its in the back 😂 you understand?
does this only work to update existing maps, or will it work for adding maps of a region not available for the car? (ex:USDM car in the middle east that needs middle east maps)
@minecraft0011master - this process I showed will only update existing maps. In order to add or change regions you can do that but requires additional setting and changes. I believe the whole drive needs to get updated for that particular region off the world ( ie. units and all)
Any chance you can help regarding a question with the sport display.. can you change the values to higher with the expert mode? I got a tune and numbers stayed the same.
@Dajairon - have you completed all the related settings for soft close, and convenience closing and for remote lock. It only happens when the car is locked either by key fob or by touching the door handle.
@Vtino82 - have you ensured that wiring is good? And have you let the car go into deep sleep ( lock and stay away for 30)and then try again. It might be that the camera has gone bad.
Hi Mate. Not a coding thing but i have a 2015 x5m and im not sure why but the fog lights dont turn on. Ive had it for 3 weeks. The green light on the dash comes on but when i look at the front of the car only the normal driving lights are on. Any thoughts?
