I am running them on my 2015 tundra and they are fantastic, it is very important to note that you are NOT supposed to re-use U-bolts, they are one and done, and stretch under the first torque, so they cannot get re-torqued to spec. Failure is very rare, but pretty horrible considering the cost of replacement ubolts. rear bolts need to be torqued to 90 ft/lbs

Another helpful tool would be a clamp to clamp the new u-bolts with your new sumo springs. Sometimes the u-bolt could be a little wide for the bottom bracket for the u-bolt to go through the holes.

In addition to the Sumo Springs, try adding the TRD Sway Bar, makes a world of difference when towing 9,000 lbs.

I put the yellow color on my '02 Tundra. I thought they were great. 1 ton no sweat. With fat sway bars it was a bit rough with the yellow color bumper. It cornered like a sports car though. Blue is what I'll add to my '21 rather than the heavier yellow..after 36k.

Does it change the ride smoothness?
@SheziMotorsport

@Trd2020 - yes it does make it a little stiff but if towing then definitely helps a lot.

How do these compare to air bags or helper leaf springs? I have a 2006 tundra that I would like to reduce sag on. Assuming this would do the job?

I see you used a jack under the axle, you did not have any issues with compressing the spring for installation?
@SheziMotorsport

@dawyne Keith - that is correct no issues at all.

Is it necessary to jack the truck up? I just bought some and am about to attempt to put them in thanks.

@brendan w - I would recommend doing it to ensure safety and ease.

If you Jack up too high it will cause to much compression preventing you from inserting the Sumo spring.
