Hold the remote and point it at your phone camera. Do you see the light when you press buttons? That would at least establish whether its remote or sensor at fault.

Always loved the surreal humour, as the jokes were far less predictable. Together with stop motion and the excellent choice in musical accompaniment, the short clips were the highlight of every Vision On episode for me.
In about 1977 or 78 I was a student studying graphic design at Norwich School of Art. Technically those were rather primitive times and I had occasion to go over to the University of East Anglia, the UEA and use their much more sophisticated Audio Visual equipment. As I was being escorted to the department I needed, I turned in youthful amazement when I saw none other than the Prof from Vision On, David Cleveland. My escort saw the direction of my gaze, turned to me and said “Yes he is and don’t mention it to him.” Apparently he was working at the UEA as an film maker.
I don't remember this one. Is this from a movie? I know there was a movie. Sounds a little like a James Bond movie, which ironically he was James Bond.

Was Barker Butts School in Coventry, back in 1930’s/1940’s for girls & boys? I’m trying to find out the school my mother attended. She lived in Radford, Coventry.
