If your CV bolts prove to be a pig to remove, you can either use s cold chisel to tap them anti-clockwise or use bolt removers. Then replace bolts with new ones, not forgetting friction washers.
@@vwthings I just did the job for the first time... the allan bolts suck. The new splined type are much better. I had an allan head strip on my and I got it out by hammering in a TORX.
