I love your honesty. As the biggest kendrick fan this song still went over my head the first few times but I could still feel how special it was. Just wanted to say it's amazing to see such a genuine reaction and keep up the great work
Brother, hope youre all good and life is treating you well. Just stumbled on your channel and wanted to say youre reactions are fire af. I see you haven't reacted in a while. Hope you get back to it. Much love
It's a real story which makes the song hit harder. he got caught cheating by his soon to be wife who he had a child with, and then she publicly said he was shitty and how her new man was a perfect dad etc. so he went overseas to lock in and then dropped this album with this song on it.
Do you have a stutter? I have one as well, but I didn’t really notice until my wife asked because she said “did you record a video?” Love your reaction
@@staccat0 right on, glad you’re sharing! Do you want a few underground gems to listen (or react) to? A lot of the hip hop i dig (Aesop included) doesn’t have a ton of coverage and based on your reaction i think you may be into ‘em
Man, I assume your stuttering is not an act. And giving it's true, is your stutter (logoneurosis if put broadly, right?) active when you try to sing? I heard that different parts of brain operate talking and singing (including rapping). I actually follow a number of rappers, that claim that
SLATT is an acronym for "Slime Life All The Time" a term referring to a supposed gang started by Young Thug, one of the biggest Atlanta rappers. I say 'supposed' because he is currently on trial for the formation of this gang and the crimes they have comitted. Many people call their close friends "slatt" these days as a result of Young Thug.
100% correct on how this song doesn’t feel like it has a time signature. Obviously it does have one, but lyrics arent usually so scattered around the beats. Works great for this song, considering the subject matter of circling the drain and complete implosion.
Not every rapper is supposed to be at some genius level of lyricism. I think that a lot of old-heads, these days, tend to be stuck in that mindset. If I want to vibe out and get into some sort of euphoric-psychedelic state, I’ll listen to some of the newer generation. There’s certain vibes that different sub-genres have. If I had a girl in the car with me, I’m not gonna be playing something from Illmatic or TPAB. I’ll probably play some Weeknd, Bad Bunny, and some J. Cole love songs.
Hey just found your channel because of your Uzi reactions. There’s so many you haven’t listened to and I’m gonna put you on. Also listen to yeat too. A few songs from yeat- Kant Change, Krank, ya ya, My Wrist ft yeat. A few songs from uzi- pop, grab the wheel, silly watch, bigger than life, status ft uzi
