It's June 2024 and I can't tell I how many of these mansions keep getting out back on the Market despite massive amounts of marketing and social media features
It’s not a major flaw, it’s just not a close focus camera, it’s an action camera. A major Flaw is DJI,s inability to maintain a stable horizon when rigged to a motor vehicle. The gyroscopes are sensitive to engine vibrations.
I have watched many dozens of insta360 videos at this point and yours are by far the best by many orders of magnitude. The information is there in a fun way, and the editing is top notch. Your video on the Ace Pro focus problem hit the nail on the head, and no one else has put the Go 3 through its paces like you. I just subscribed to your channel. p.s. adage is a word word that rhymes with cabbage, not protégé. I do not think less of you for this, but rather more because it means that you are a reader.
So you’re giving away the 72mm step for free but expect people to pay $15 for the 52mm one? Don’t worry guys. I’ll make one and put it up for free on thingiverse.
I wish I could still download the source clip. Just found the video. The second guy way of work is the most similar to me. I would really like to try myself.
Dude, 2x anamorphic lenses are designed for 4:3/6:5 capable cameras. Not 16:9 sensors. Those super super wide desqueezed clips in this video are a joke. Get your hands on a bmpcc 4K/6k and shoot with something 2x lenses were designed for.
Great break down and comparison video! You nailed it near the end their with that final comment - internal 32 bit float. While a 2nd lower level safety track helps, I often find myself needing to bring voice levels up. Sometimes way up. After using 32 bit in the Zoom F3 for the last couple years it's hard to go back to 24 bit. I literally turn it on, see that there's an audio wave and proceed with filming.
Does this problem go away if you shoot in 4K? Because your workaround is really cool but I doubt very many people have access to a 3-D printer. Also, is this a problem on the GoPro H2? Because I do notice that if I am too close with my GoPro, my face is a little bit of focus. I don’t think action cameras like close-ups!
Josh , Amazing piece ! So much energy and info . I have Roning 4D . Where do you get those counterweights and how do you attach them ? Please share :))
I have an LG ultra-wide monitor and that has a 1.33x stretch, so 1.33x anamorphic lenses aren't that bad of a choice. What I want to know is can you get the 27mm and zoom in with the FX30 and it's not as sharp? That is a 2.5x crop total, so 27mm turns into 67.5mm, which can cover a lot. Sounds like the Blazar Remus is the best choice for that Hollywood look, even with the optical flaws. I did notice that the optical flaws made it look more colorful Hollywood style and drew in my eyes into the center. It's like buy the Sirui Night Walker vs 7Artisans Vision cine lenses, each has a loot to them.
hey! Your videos on the ronin 4D have been invaluable. I’m considering the ronin 4D as my primary camera for my creative agency. I shoot a lot of different content. Would you recommend the ronin 4D as a primary camera instead of getting an alternative with all the accessories to achieve the same result?
