Opinion on high quality matcha while healing ?
@SkinCoachTanel
@SkinCoachTanel 2 месяца назад
When healing from extreme skin conditions such as you can see from some of my skin client result photos, it's best to completely quit all coffee and teas completely Then, once the initial big state of inflammation is gone and the healing is progressing into next stages, then matcha can be reintroduced, same is with high quality organic teas and even with good coffee (organic, high quality, freshly ground...) By the way, even tea people (like for example @teahouseghost) have noted in their videos that non-organic teas are poisonous beyond any norms, it's gnarly, they are one of the most heavily pesticide-ridden produces around. High quality organic teas on the other hand are a different story Even better to start reintroducing from (safest options) are herbal teas made with chamomile for example to help sleep. Sleep is important for healing the skin. One of my favourite videos from TeaHouseGhost is this, maybe you'd find it interesting too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jm4nZIHwKJI.html

Sadly, a lot of clothes (jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts) used to be made of 100% cotton. Now-a-days, that is no longer the case unless you spend a lot of money. I still have clothes from 35 years ago that are in good condition that are 100% cotton. Now, clothes wear out so much faster.
@SkinCoachTanel
@SkinCoachTanel 2 месяца назад
Yeah I always say this to clients that we are shopping for materials (cotton, silk, leather, cashmere...) not brandnames (overpriced polyester). Similarly, we are eating ingredients (real food), not fast readymeals (with a bunch of additives). With clothes, it's good to look for some vintage second hand shops, usually those can offer high quality heavy cotton clothes (very durable and soft) for a small price. Luckily online stores also have filters for "filter by materials". Some brands are also good to become loyal to already just for their use of natural materials (for example Legio Gloria). I might make a post about how to find good clothes! Listing a bunch of good brands too, thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the video. Do you drink any black coffee on your fasts? Or strictly just water? Coming from a slight caffeine addict, thanks.
@SkinCoachTanel
@SkinCoachTanel 2 месяца назад
You're welcome! So black coffee will not end the fasting state as you probably know, so in that sense it's okay, but in the context of skin healing, coffee is almost universally a strong trigger to quit while healing the skin (not just during fasting but during the whole healing timeline) I also enjoy quality coffee, so I empathize how limiting it feels to quit coffee for a while, but when the skin is truly diseased and real results are needed, then it simply should be treated as a long term experiment. Years ago when I also healed my skin, I saw most of my skin progress when I decided to quit coffee and tea entirely. I see the same with my clients and others. Especially when quitting low quality coffee drinks with other ingredients, it's very noticeable! However, I will add to this that once my skin healed enough and my health became more robust over time, I successfully reintroduced quality coffee and do enjoy it occasionally without a problem now. Either a good espresso or a drip black coffee, always made from fresh ground quality beans, I think it's wonderful and I see others also being able to handle it later on with no reactions Quality coffee is: - grown organically (conventional coffee is very high in pesticide residues etc.) so go for specialty produce - fresh beans, grind it yourself (pre-ground coffee can have mycotoxins forming in the packaging, especially during long term storage) - without all those extra ingredients like pasteurized dairy, sugar, vanilla creams, syrups etc. As is true with quitting anything while healing the skin, sometimes the situation has to reach new levels of discomfort, pain, ugliness and desperation for us to take it seriously and sacrifice some foods/drinks/pleasures/habits to fix the skin for real and attain good health. Good health then builds us the ability to tolerate more without problems

What are your thoughts on people whose eczema is triggered by grass pollen? Is there a risk that ruminant meat and tallow could trigger an allergic response since they eat grass? I'm a lifelong eczema sufferer, raised without ever eating red meat. I'm absolutely game to start if it means healing, but the few times I've tried I've had a bad reaction. Trying to figure out whether it's just an adjustment period or the grass pollen issue. Thanks!
@SkinCoachTanel
@SkinCoachTanel 3 месяца назад
Interesting question, I haven't seen this being a reaction since the grass food gets digested by the ruminant's multiple stomachs, it shouldn't be a problem at all I have, however, read many studies about raw goat milk intake helping against all sorts of allergies, I'd sip on some of that! Very healing rnz.izoo.krakow.pl/files/RNZ_2023_50_1_art01_en.pdf www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10563692/ www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7040033/ A good gentle way to start eating quality beef is to make a broth/soup out of it by using bone broth (can be store bought) and boiling minced beef in there. Hey! Thanks, I'm glad you like the video! Check out Wouter's new sunscreen product, I think it might be just the thing you're looking for: primalglowcosmetics.com/products/tallow-zinc-sunbalm There should be a discount code, try "SKINCOACHTANEL" and see if it works I would try it out of curiosity at some point but my skin type just never burns or gets red at all so there's no need for me 😁

Great video, I use to be an animal at the gym 6-7 days in a row sometimes no days off. As I’ve become older I’ve realized the benefit of resting. I now work out 2-3 days on the weekend and take the rest of the week off from weightlifting. Has worked wonders for weightloss in general.
