Every year or so, I drive out to near Mount Banks. A packed salad for lunch, then a walk out towards Rigby Hill (I know the Rigby after whom it was named). One short passage of the walk is a bit on the risky side, but otherwise its a reasonable and near-level track, but the grass is a bit long for summer. The views across the head of the Grose Valley are stunning and as you walk out there are great easterly views also. (Don't worry about the typo, the video is what matters)
Thanks for the tip! I've made a note of it to include the next time we're in the Blue Mountains. Our daughter lives there so we visit as often as we can and her other half is a trail guide too. I'll mention Rigby Hill to him and if he hasn't been yet, make sure he does!
@@eatyourvegfpv If you do want to visit it, leave it until the cooler months. Much of the walk is through longish grass, and who knows what lives in that.
A great video. My father grew up in Lithgow and used speak of weekends he and his mates had in the land around Newnes Junction, Clarence, Bell and so forth. In his earlier years, he, his father and his brother would take the Newnes railway from time to time. You've probably had many messages, but can you change the Newness please?
Thank you. Very glad you enjoyed the video and that sounds like some wonderful times your father told you about. I can only imagine! Thanks very much for letting me know about my misspelling, I hadn't noticed that.
@@eatyourvegfpv I find that mistakes like the "ss" that I've made are very hard to pick up (but for me, very easy to make). That's because you know what you intended to key and read that as being what you did in fact key.
I did sort of, yes. There seems to be some cameras that Fusion just cannot sync properly with, and there's no real hard and fast rule. Two cameras of the exact same make and model might behave differently. I did find that when there's a camera that Fusion mode won't play nicely with, Old Skool mode worked fine but it was a shame not to be able to use the benefits of Fusion. I've since moved to digital though and only use analog for tiny whoops and thankfully Fusion seems to work fine with all those I own.
Good video mate, recently got into FPV myself and decided on the HDZ system. I initially thought I would go DJI, bought a Nazgul V3 with DJI to only decide against it last minute so replaced the O3 with the Freestyle v2. Really enjoying HDZ because it’s so flexible and feature rich and the fact that I only have park flying available to me in Northamptonshire it works great for me. Also the fact that it’s such a great analog goggle it’s perfect for my whoops.
Yep, and I could have built this as a 65mm tiny whoop but wanted a little more stability with a 75mm. I love the little thing for this kind of filming!
What size lipo are you using to power it now? I power my Fatsnail goggles with a 3s LI-Ion and got decent flight time with it. I am getting the HDZero goggles eventually so wondering how you did with other lipo's.
i know there is a difference,, But i think the SkyZones looked just as good in a round about kinda way.. i own SkyZones so this kind of video is what im more then interested in ,, thank you. after seeing this video, yes i want the HDZERO goggles but now i dont feel like my SkyZone are being put to shame by them.. again thank you for this video bro. Happy Rippin Fool
Yep I was hoping for a little better from 1W here too, but when. In the same room in this location, multipathing is horrific and analog is almost unusable so actually HDZero is doing extremely well there.
Prefer the VRx4, it gives me everything I need (an HDMI out port) without all the goggle crrrp I don't want Don't know about you, but having two strobes glued to my eyeballs with a fan blowing on them and having my head irradiated and looking like a Doc Brown Back to the Future fool all the while is not what I consider is fun.
Wow how have I never came across your channel before, I've been watching as much HD Zero stuff as I could find time permitting these last 2 years. HD Zero is it for me, I'm gonna be switching come summer from Dom v3 to these then I can stay analogue and also upgrade to HD, think I'm binning of my QX7 aswell and getting a jumper T pro, sort of like I did with my fishing gear conglomerate and go light weight lol, I'm rambling but anyway great video I'm now gonna sub and dig through your channel if you don't mind lal, thanks again.
Thank you so much for the nice comments, they're really appreciated! 🙏 I don't put out a huge amount of content, but hope you find something else that's interesting and you like, and of course I will be putting out more 👍👊
Nice video man, do you know if the goggles have a setting that stretches the normal 4:3 image from the camera out to 16:9 on the screen, without any clipping or cropping? (Similar to how the Skyzone 04x can display it)
@@eatyourvegfpv I guess for me personally I’ve found that I fly better that way, plus I feel that it’s a closer representation of what the GoPro is capturing in terms of framing
Yep, both are great because I think analog has been out for so long now that it's pretty much been 'perfected' as far as it can go. I found the HDZero goggles to have a bit more definition and especially smoothness when flying with it though. It just looks that bit sharper in the goggles to my eyes.
I watched on my phone, and I thought so too until I turned up the resolution to 1080, not much, but it is noticable in spots. Just an opinion though. People see things in videos all the time I can't see, so what do I know?
@@RCOverKill Yep, ideally you want to watch at high resolution on a large screen to see the differences, but to me, the difference was quite noticeable in the goggles.
I really love these goggles. They're in the same league as Skyzone. Being that both HDzero and Skyzone listen to the needs of the FPV community. And perfect their goggles accordingly. The display image is equivalent to the Avatar HD. But this HDzero goggle is so far ahead of the Fatshark designed goggle in features, that it's not funny.
Hahaha! Even if you weren't in a grocery store, you're probably better off leaving the sound off man! 😜 By the way, loving your work DJ! 🤘 Can't wait till you get an opportunity to try these goggles out.
