Here's a completely unedited and ungraded DVR upload from the Shark Byte system on my iFight Nazgul XL5V5. I rendered it in 4k on Resolve to try to minimise RU-vid's compression...
I was using the TX5R.1 VTX at 25mW output, with a TBS Triumph Pro u.Fl antenna on the quad and two VAS Mad Mushroom omnis on the goggle module. The camera is a Runcam Nano HD with a Caddx Ratel M12 lens mod. I don't think I have the focus quite nailed, although it goes without saying that the goggle view is massively better than this crappy DVR recording.
I recorded in .MOV format, and imported that into DaVinci Resolve 17. You can see at the beginning there's some issues with dropped frames which other users have also found. I'm sure the next firmware update will address that.
I'm MASSIVELY impressed with HDZero and Shark Byte, and love flying it. I have so much more confidence and ability to see things than I did with analog, and my analog setup was about as good as you could realistically get. The new HDZero Runcam Micro HD will be another step forward and then of course, a more powerful VTX will bring the system on further.
I've not been flying crazy long, and this is also only my thrid flight back after not being able to fly for 3.5 months. It's really just a long pack of me trying to get back into it, chasing a mate a bit, and an opportunity to upload some Shark Byte footage.
