Just embarking on our own van conversion, it is also a relay L4H2 so this was a great insight as to what you can fit in it. We already decided on a very similar layout to you guys except just going for a fixed bed. Also already committed to a cassette toilet :( however we won't be full time so shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for the tour ❤
Hi Guys have recently started watching you channel, my question is how did you wire up your marker/ running side lights or were they already fitted TIA
Hello, nice job , i have a question, I installed 12/12 30 amp victron dc to dc to my van at it gave me 25 amp before but now it gives me 12/to 13 amp for 100amp lifepo4 battery to charge , do you any idea why it doesn’t charge with at least 25 amp. Thanks
Lovely build, a home for sure. I'm always curious how others manage the Schengen Shuffle (90 days in, 90 days out), which months they choose to be in the Schengen and which months to be out. Or do you have a long term visa? Anyway, I enjoy your Instagram account, you guys are going to some lovely places.
Thank you 😊💓 we don't actually have to plan around the Schengen zones as Laz has a hungarian passport and as we are married I get free reign too 🙌 so we actually done 5 months in total in the schengen area but appreciate that not everyone has a dual citzenship! Glad you are enjoying the content, plenty more to come! 🤩
We started our van build the same time as you but we are still not finished. Great to see you on the road after your videos disappeared during your build. Hopefully we will be finished and away next year🤞🏼
I'm sure it won't be long, it is a long process! Definitely took us longer than we thought!! I know we had to stop uploading as life got hectic so had to take a break and then got itchy feet to go! FIngers crossed on your travels for next year, keep in touch as we are planning to go off again April/May 2025 🥰
Awwww thankyou, that's so lovely to hear!! If you need any advice on your build let us know, we can try and help 😊 we are loving living in and now can't imagine living in a house again!!
You two are really good peeps, I'm glad to see you out living the life in the Van now, I've been watching the build since way back, you have helped me out in a lot of ways with the videos, this is what it's all about. Thank you Cas & Laz, don't ever change 🚐💨........ ⛅
Hi Caz & Laz! The end result is amazing, great job! We are just wondering how the combi boiler is doing, we just installed ours and we are curious about your experience with the heater so far. Thanks! Rein & Melis
"Fantastic transformation, Cas & Laz! It was a pleasure witnessing your journey as you assembled the van and seeing the finished product. We appreciate your assistance in informing our customers about the customized ROLdoûr Retractable shower door. We'll continue to follow your travel adventures!"
Such a well put together van and it looks amazing now its finished! The build vlog was also brilliant too guys, glad you are now getting to enjoy the fruits of your own labour :)
Hi. John and Celia from Widnes here. We loved your vlogs and wondered why you didn't continue with them. The van is ace,we have the same van and have completed 99% of the build. We did everything ourselves. Just sorted air con for the summer.,😊 So glad ya sorted it. Please keep posting your travels. Best of luck. J and c
Hi John and Celia! So glad you liked the vlog series and tour, glad we could finally do the tour to give the series an actual finish! Things got super busy with work/life and that combined with converting the van meant the vlogs had to take a back burner and because the conversion had taken longer than expected we really just wanted to focus on building the van. Hopefully the series was still helpful, as we think we covered most of the major components / challenges that we would have liked to have seen/needed help with! Glad to hear you have finished your van too, have you got any plans for the summer? We are planning to upload some vanlife travel content soon, so keep your eyes peeled 😁 Thank you for all your support with watching the vlog series, always appreciated 🫶💕
@@CasLaz hi guys. Yes got super plans thanks. Main holiday is ferry to Bilbao and 3 weeks in Espana. Try the campsite la Bella vista in la duquesa. Fantastic site, on the beach, beach bars nearby, supermarkets etc local. Got a good idea for air con, less than 300 quid and it works a treat. We do a mix of sites, and pub stopovers. The longer the stay it's on a site. The star at stone in Staffordshire looks ace, and there is the crown wharf, both look ace. It's a shame you both don't do further vlogs as entertainment goes, it's better than any thing on BBC or sky😜. Thanks for the reply. Take care. J and c widnes
Glad you liked the bloopers 😅 we have to include them as our tradition! In the overhead storage we normally keep bags/camping chairs etc things we use outdoors and can easily squish/access.
Thankyou!! Hope to meet you at one of the van meet ups (hopefully this summer!) and thanks for ALL the support over our journey, we know you've been here since the very beginning 🙌🫶
Love the van guys, sooo much storage and such a great finish! We watched loads of your videos when we started converting our van. Would love to see a budget video… would also love to know if there is anything you would change now you’ve been living in the van a while?
Thankyou so much, glad to hear you love it 😀 and supporting the channel since the start! We can definitely do a budget video, as its something we would love watching ourselves before we started! In terms of changing anything at the moment there isn't anything major, just some tiny upgrades we wanted to do before leaving but didn't get time. You know what they say, a van build is never fully finished 😅 there will always be small things you want to upgrade BUT overall the layout and major components are perfect as is ☺️🙌
Thank you so much! 😊 glad you enjoyed the cupboard tour, we were 50/50 about adding it or not, but glad we did now 😀 the table leg was definitely hard to find, but in the end we bought it from Aliexpress, it took about 6 weeks to come but it was definitley worth it! Will add the link the description if we can find it again for you ❤
Before even watching the vide.... YAY! You're back! I was rewatching some of your old videos recently and wondering how you are doing. Great to hear from you again. :) Roger
We've been in Europe for 2 months now and haven't plugged in once! But when we done our Scotland trip we were working full time and needed to plug in once a week but it was Winter!
Tanks for the response. You have a rely nice build. I am currently building a campervan and also installing 800w solar and am presently surprised. I am curious if your cooking every day because that uses a lot of power.
@arvinbloem9640 Thanks! In the Summer or Warmer Climates we do cook every day, some days even twice a day. In the UK Winter we defeniately cook less to save power and extend the time between campsite visits.
Great build vids I’m converting a L4H2 Boxer installing victron kit with a roamer 460 and seriously considering a jp so lots of parallels in our builds. I feel really lucky to have you guys as a resource. Wondering if you can hear the pump from inside? Btw also liked your CAK tank vid. Cheers guys
Thanks James! Good Luck with your build! We have the JP pump outside the van, you can hear it but its really quiet, you can hear the heater itself more. Thanks!!
