Just realized why Stan was so sad during the funeral of the wax figure of himself. It reminded him of Ford and the possibility that he could be dead. :(
i am so happy that i have a passion for this fandom. im so happy im able to cry while watching this beautifully made PMV. i have no words, i just love this so much my cheeks hurt. stan is such a sad and tragic character.

There's something soft yet very expressive in these relatively simple drawings. The dynamic camera angles and use of color contribute to the loveliness. Definitely does justice to one of my favorite songs of the show; thank you for making it.

This is way too good not to comment on. Stan has always been one of my favorite characters, I adore how he’s written and this really just lays out how much he’s actually been through throughout his whole life. Makes me appreciate and understand even more why him being the one who sacrificed himself on that day was so meaningful. This is making me realize what a brilliant conclusion to his character that was. Man I gotta rewatch the show again, there’s so many things I missed writing-wise. Thank you for this, one of the best gravity falls PMVs I’ve seen.

2:25 made me realize that I’ve never really thought about the implications of Stanley reading the journals. Reading his brother’s slow descent into paranoia couldn’t have been very reassuring.
I’m actually crying when he saw Dipper and Mabel and how he frowned from I’m pretty sure from how he’s sad his brother wasn’t able to see him, and when he saw the wax Stan he had a panic attack because he was scared of his brother dying, and how he had flash back trying to tell Dipper and Mabel to let him press the button, and how saddened Dipper looked at the end I actually cried man, really good job!
I AM CRYING LITERAL TEARS. I am not a person that cries easily. Idk maybe it's cause it's 1am- BUT OH MY GOSH. I have never seen anything this sad, even watching the show I never fully saw how desperate and alone Stan was before the portal brought back Ford. Then after he was neglected and unthanked. Seeing all of that back to back made me see how hopelessly depressing he probably felt. I will be watching this animation at least another 7 times tonight and a bunch more later omg 😭😭😭😭
Genuinely i LOVE how you've portayed this. You've displayed how stan was so desperate to get his brother back, yet, when he did, everything changed. He may have stolen a life but then he LIVED that life, and now he has to return it. He's becoming aware dipper and mabel are starting to warm up to ford, and he thinks he'll be replaced, and that once again, stanford will be the better twin, y'know? Love this alot, dude!
I don’t know anything about this musical, but this is an amazing animatic! I love the emotion and grief and desperation that can be seen in every step, and that final frame with the painting in the background almost giving him wings-just beautiful.
first time watching this after the gf fandom comeback w the book of bill and im absolutely devastated, this is so detailed in all the ways possible, either the art n editing itself and all the thought you put into it, it might be my new favorite gf animatic. in other words i sobbed so hard, you did absolutely amazing !!
