Edit: I don't know how I killed Senesax in one go. Maybe, I got really used to jumping over attacks for some reason, or maybe I was overleveled for NG 0 DLC? I'm not sure, I just know that I walked up to her with the Black-Knight hammer and my Mimic had the same hammer and we just domed her. I was talking about this (and the Bayle fight) with a friend, and they were struggling because they were using a rapier, and I realized, my favorite weapon types are Great Hammers and Colossal Weapons, if I swing my weapon in the same *post code* as the boss I'm going to hit them. Side Note: I do not know why there are so many Golden Vows in this game. You know Golden Vow: the spell, Golden Vow: the ash of war, Golden Vow: The unique skill of the Golden Halberd, but have you tried, Golden Vow: the consumable??

I know I'm like 2 weeks late, but I've been avoiding as much ER content as I could so I didn't spoil myself on the DLC. Now that I'm at the final boss (even if i haven't beaten him), I can say that I 100% agree with taking your time playing through it. Powering through just to meet a deadline is a terrible way to do someone that's supposed to be fun. Looking forward to seeing last week and this week's vids!
I didn’t finish the video yet but here’s the shield build that worked for me ARMOR: Moores set (All pieces) LH1 - Moore Greatshield RH1 - Sword lance (or any other pierce weapon really) with bleed. I found this had the best range. RH2 - Dragon Communion seal with Black Flame Protection, Golden Vow, and Divine Lords Fortify. Talismans - All Defensive Dragoncrest Greatshield Sacred Braid Pearl Shield Verdigris Discus (most important) This gives you 1,000,000 Guard Boost (I counted) and none of Radahn’s attacks deal damage to you if you hold Shield. Stats are pretty unimportant since you’ll be Overloaded to make the most of the Discus talisman, regardless of endurance. Find ur openings to hit radahn 2-3 pokes at a time, and ur bleed weapon should take care of the rest.
I really think frenzy got shafted in ER. The spells zre ok,mbut the status is almost useless (beats Deathblight which also could use some love). I think humanoid enemies should be affected by frenzy. Have it be like it affects us. A short stun and it does a percentile damage. Then there would be a reason to use it in PvE. Besides bleed and frost, other status affects are mid at best. Some uses here and there but most times not really worrh it.
Vyke is a 🐐. Landed a baddie like Lansseax, beat 2 shardbearers and tried to save his maiden. After going crazy, he locked himself away so he wouldn't hurt her. Vyke, I 🫡 you 🐲🐉♥️ slayer you. I wonder why Lancy really called him Dragonspear?
Deathbird on horse back is easier than throwing a few holy pots or a sacred blade beam to the dome? Are you sure about that? I don't think you know how to fight deathbirds the right way.
Loved the play as ... dnd series. Could you do something similar in elden ring? I'd like to see shoto todaroki from MHA and I think the playstyle of building frost then popping fire to build frost again could be fun
It’s funny you mention the random knight with the prayer book in Liurnia. I have always wondered if there’s an NPC who mentions it’s there or if there was something I missed.
With the Marika and Radagons thing do they do it at there own volition or does it just happen? And are they separate people as in, do they have there own thoughts and opinions on things?
As a banished knight funny boi I believe it is because I got all the banished stuff as a wretch than used it for the rest of the game for the funny it took me a casual 400 hours but you made it better
