Interesting notice how she doesn't quite kill him but rather she destroys the lich's body but imprison's him or rather his head which is still alive which would mean there's more like the lich but there imprisoned which means they could in theory be freed especially sense the lich cracked one of the prisons by simply hitting it out of rage i wonder if that could eventually lead up something but perhaps not.
I wonder if Golb chose to let Betty stay merged with them because they wanted to understand the kind of self-sacrifice/destruction people were capable of when someone else is involved. Golb is shown to be a child alone no parents or others of its species ever present so how else would someone like them understand what love is.
The fact that his prison form is meant in itself to be an insult is hilarious. A being a wanton destruction and worshipper of chaos transformed into a puzzle piece meant to be part of a greater whole. It also shows how "insulted" Golbetty felt at his hubris statement "what do you want from me" like an entity of that level could ever want from such an inconsequential being. I wonder if that's what every lich's greater failing was to think that chaos was a sentient force with desires and plans that it could appease through its small tyrannies.
2:28 heh well as normal as it can be Fionna. But hey it’s your world. Each world maybe different but they each share one thing that they alls have in common.. it’s a nice world to live in whether it’s full of vampires, magical beings, ice creatures, or any other kind of crazy thing.
I like to think this isn't even specifically a Golbetty thing, and that every single time a Lich manages to reach Golb, they do that to him. All of those blocks are individual Lichii.
It must be fun for long time One Piece fans to watch this alongside newcomers, and the newcomers have no idea just how powerful the warlord Mihawk and the “Yonko” Shanks actually are.
