Just recieved my flex fuel kit for s55 f80 m3 but this new harness a little confusing compared to previous version is there any video installation on the new method with new harness
Should have bought the WIFI adapter from you guys. The BimmerUtility adapter will not connect, WIFI. Apple ProMax 13. Also sets off the alarm system. 2022 BMW M4 Comp xDrive. SETTINGS (ProMax 13) WIFI DEVICE SHOWN.(BU) PASSWORD/SSID UNKNOWN. VIN NOT FOUND. . Returning it and going with a cable. Their service is lacking as well. Horrible work instructions. NO mention of SSID psswd etc. I sent them a message, SSID wide open? I was in Telecom, 30+ years and electronics in general over 50+ years.
Does that mean the install video Kies Motorsport has for S55 where the harness plugs into the factory EKP module is now obsolete? I hope not because that makes it so much easier than having to route the harness to the front but I guess it still isn’t that bad.
Alright so a couple things after doing the install this morning in my F80 M3..the new box doesn’t have screws to open so that plug isn’t necessary. When you undo the plug in the kick panel, slide the grey pins out and into the new harness before putting back into pin holder..only one way for them to lock in place so don’t worry about getting it backwards. And BM3, focus your diy videos more so on the actual job like Kies does instead of trying to make some trendy cuts and angles.
I’ve been considering getting a BM3 license for my m240i and this video has completely convinced me, the customization and variety of tunes looks absolutely amazing.
@@samartzabsolutely amazing! I’ve only tried the stage 1 93 octane so far but I am blown away by how much it pulls now, the top end power makes it feel like a different car!
Does it let my current map to get backed up? 🤔 Would like to test stage 2 with more burbles 😅 and it would be practical to get rid of speed limit when going to Nürburgring in the future 😊
The best part is that the shady sellers on Amazon recognize that it needs to be MFI certified, and they just say it's certified even though it's not...
@@protuningfreaks it's true though. The first one I bought didn't work. But then I got the iPhone 15 Pro Max, so it doesn't matter anymore because they finally have USB C like adults.

Will my MHD - F-Series adaptor work to connect and tune wirelessly? 11:12 - this line hits so hard. My MHD adaptor had me running circles for a couple days..
Ditch it and go with bm3 adapter. Mhd adapter doesn’t let you set a custom password on wifi and if left plugged it, could have your OBD port compromised which is not good at all for so many reasons.

I currently have JB4 installed as well, I hear some people run JB4 with BM3 - does this change the install process at all? Would I have to put JB4 to Map 1 or?
Hi, you guys might not answer this, and it will also be a dume question, but I'm curious to know if there's a way to only activate Tunes in Sport Mode. I still want to be able to drive my car in comfort mode with no tune, and when I want to have a little fun, I press the Sport button with the tunes. is this possible?
When I followed the steps for draining the fuel line on my m340, in both install and removal the fuel lines never got drained and it would spray gas everywhere. Car would run for 10-15 seconds, shut off, and not turn back on. Yet there’s still fuel in the lines. Going to be installing the kit on my g80 now, so wondering if I’m missing any steps so that I don’t make my M3 smell like gas
There’s always a chance for some fuel in the line to spray out. Best is to leave the gas cap open for a bit for pressure to bleed off after running car so it shuts off without the fuel controller plugged in
@@protuningfreaks Having this same issue, i just opened the cap to see if that helps, Seemed like the gas was never gonna stop flowing so i gave up to do some research.
