In the banking sector there is a difference between fraud and a scam.. fraud is where a 3rd party withdraws money from your account without your authorisation. A scam is where you do authorise the transactions but was deceived and tricked into doing so and end up losing the money. If its fraud, Filly is right, the bank does have to refund these... if its a scam the bank are less likely to refund unless the transactions were unusual for your account and the bank ought to have blocked them. I think Chunks is talking about a scam, not fraud.
