This channel aims to cover all things Warhammer and Warhammer 40k in the gaming sphere. Currently and solely focused on DARKTIDE with the intention of expanding into other future Warhammer titles as they are released. I come from a writing background and enjoy scripted, reflective pieces on the games that I love.
I started playing this game like a week ago so have mercy.. why does everybody pick voice of command over the stealth ability? I mean you can easily get out of a bad situation, pick up a mate easily or rush the objective
Just got back into the game and played a game, can confirm the build still works perfectly. Also idk but the the cooldown of prayer has been reduced, i dont remember it being able to be used this often compaired to back when this video was uploaded.
Personally i have a crippling addictiln to the Revolver (Zarona) and Combat Knife, played properly you never have to reload, and with krak grenades there isnt anything in the game outside of bosses you csnt one or two shot, and even those still melt with the bleed and crit and bonus weakspot damage
i dont like the flamer it can be very hard to kill some specialist if are 20 of them around you, a good old revolvr could be more usefull for everything, i can kill crusher with 4 shos, kill snipers and bombers, long range is very usefull as short range, you can take crazy ragers with 1 shot too, the eviscerator is a good weapow, i like the knife with multiple bleeding stacks, each bleedin cause 188 dmg on mauler and 2 hits o the back culd kill, i use the same talents.
As of 28/04/24 this crafting system still exists in the game, the locks still exist you can still easily blow 500K dockets just to get Brunt to roll a weapon above 360 power (let alone 380...good luck) regardless of your character level/inventory level, then after hundreds of thousands of dockets spent Hadron can unravel it in four clicks consecrate, consecrate, consecrate, consecrate locked...dead by the way so you have an idea of how quickly ordo dockets are gained (the entry currency to start this gambling system) the hardest content in the game auric maelstrom awards roughly 20k dockets with a good team you can clear this in 20-30 minutes so with a good team you can spend up to 8 hours grinding flat out on the hardest content to have enough dockets to think about starting to gamble with this system. before people start wading in yes I know failing twins hardmode awards around roughly the same amount as auric mael and yes I know some standard mael occasionally offer more than 20k base dockets...i know this but one who fuck plays twins anymore and two the maels give a docket boost randomly. the system is still intentionally grindy.
I can't find a guide on how to be invisible with infiltrate. Could anyone tell me how one enters or procs invisibility? You hit a key? You crouch a while? What makes you invisible?
I think the philosophical issue is the system doesn't reward your investment and time in the game. Normally you'd think, okay, I play the game, I grind out some things, the game rewards my playtime with more control and options over my load out to tailor my gameplay to me. But not really. You can play this game forever and you will still be forced to deal with Brunt and Hadron who can easily chew up millions of ordo dockets and tens of thousands of plasteel but still leave you with nothing but disappointment.
Definantly gonna try the grim reaper build I absalutly love shock troop style builds. One thing tho, I personaly prefer the agripinaa infentry autogun since the recoile is more controlable and its the only one that can pen poxwalkers making it super deadly aginst hordes. can the agripinaa be as effective as columnus?
If i was using this build i’d sacrifice the flame grenades for throwing knives, gunners, trappers, snipers and dogs are too annoying to desl with otherwise.
best vet build is plasma gun + mk6 sword (pox walkers) or mk3 sword (big armored enemy fallback weapon), bleeder nades, regen nades, toughness on headshot kills on the plasma gun, voice of command + friendly boost the keystones at the bottom almost don't matter. Only problem now is the server can get too laggy when it's spawning a billion enemies in auric that you can't activate the power sword.
Never have i ever seen anyone do good with plasma gun, full build for plasma gun yeah kills bosses faster but becomes utter shit in every other category, me and everyone i play with have tried plasma gun multiple times and everytime we come to the conclusion "You're better off running anything else" bosses aren't even that big of a threat anyway so the trade off isn't worth it in any scenario.
@@multiHappyHacker My bad i meant to say big guys but brain farted and typed bosses, but as i said almost anything feels a lot better overall my revolver can pretty much one shot almost every elite and specialist while your plasma in your video doesn't, no need to charge it and no need to cool it. I can only think 1 good mission for plasma and it's the modifier where it's mostly crushers.
Watched the gameplay video and also used the view of the weapon at 1:09 and I'm pretty sure he's using the Mk II. The MK XV has bigger "teeth" on the side chassis also the Mk II used a side sweep for heavy attack
@@slayerofthenine8445 I've only seen skins that change the color palette, not the actual model. What I also noticed after posting, the icon of both weapons is different. 100% sure it's th MkII in the vid
@@theactionwindow5008 Nico! Guy with the hair long on one side, shaved on the other. Haven't been around for a hot minute indeed. When I found this video I hadn't even touched Damnation yet, and by now I'm a grizzled old bastard. I'm revisiting this vid to come back to this build and try it out with some better-rolled weapons. I also apparently need to change my notification settings because I didn't get mentioned about this reply!
Can't wait to try these builds in 6 months when I finally get the right blessings and enough resources to change them, only to get screwed over by RNG or another patch. Jokes aside, I really like the Grim Reaper build, I'll definitely give it a try when I can.
Hey. Do you get your ammo back in the lower right? How? Is their something im missing because i run out of ammo really fast and have 76% ammo how do you have so much?
How do you get Keystones though? Game doesn’t do a good job at helping you do that. Do I have to just straight-shot it to the one I want and not get side perks?
Darktide feels like a content playground. I love the music, the guns are cool, it's fun to blast heretics with your friends. But I feel no confection to the world or missions I'm going on. Scan these 5 things, survive waves while resetting this scanner, etc. Where am I again? What was the reason we were scanning these things? I can't remember and it doesn't feel important to try to. That's fine at first, shooting stuff is fun. But Vermintide felt like an adventure. I understood where in the world I was, what we were doing and what was at stake. I was lost in my Fellowship of the Ring experience and it kept me coming back.
