The build is strong. But try this I have melted demon hosts/bosses in about 10 secs, entire rooms of elites in 3-5 secs with this build. MK V Ripper with highest damage and ammo threshold, cavalcade V(Adds 5% crit chance and stacks 5 times the longer you shoot your gun) with Flechette adds 8 stacks of bleed everytime you crit which which is gonna be 43% of the time you fire your weapon. Add Flak armor damage and maniac damage 25%. Run burst limiter override with lucky bullet. You will absolutely melt any any enemy in the game. With the raw dps with crits, the bleed and fire stacks nothing in the game can last more then 10- 15 secs of being melted. I've reached 800k DPS.
Nice! This is such an odd coincidence but I was looking at this exact setup on the Ripper and wondering if it could do better. Will definitely try this Blessing combo out, but I think I'd still use the II over the V. Played this exact build with all 3 rippers and there's just something about the braced mode on the II that hits right for me. That's nothing against the others, they are both excellent guns and I enjoy all 3 rippers.
@@stephantimmers9843 because you can mass apply it to things and just grind through any number of enemies. It's also super effective against ogres and monsters
@@stephantimmers9843 Bleed stacks, it's a DOT, and very strong one too. With Point blank with light em up, and the build I put up there ^ you're constantly doing crit damage on top of applying bleed and fire stacks.
Do you have a link to the talent tree setup as well as weapon SS? Newish to the game so still learning where all the skills are on the trees but the big guys are super fun to play!
Hey. Do you get your ammo back in the lower right? How? Is their something im missing because i run out of ammo really fast and have 76% ammo how do you have so much?
I've built something like this on my Mk II Ripper build as well, and although I haven't had the guts to bring it to auric levels yet, I just love sweeping through several enemies with it. And personally, I prefer the Mk III Bull Cleaver thanks to it's ridiculous sweeping range and horde clear when you wanna save some shells for the bigger buggers. It's just something so satisfying to see that not only did the raw damage take out 3 scab ragers, but the shotgunners at the back with the fire damage too.
@@arknell Hey, sorry about the late reply. Honestly, I followed Claysthetics' Pointblank Barrage build for the Mk II shotgun. Sure, you'll chug through ammo, but if you're the only one really using it, then you'd have no problem at all.
@@khaunleper It applies the burn stacks once for each enemy hitzone struck. So if you hit like, both arms head and body it applies stacks for each of them
I would be very grateful if you shared the mods you're using for your HUD/ui. looks very clean, especially the crosshair health indicators, and the centred ability indicator, thanks!
My next video mate, make sure to subscribe and hit the bell. I'll be doing a complete guide on mods, how to install them and how to achieve the same UI I have.
It is yeah. Going into this mission I thought I'd end up needing it for Crushers, turned out that wasn't the case. I don't love either of the blessings on this Ripper, Blaze Away and Fire Frenzy are probably my pick. But I ran this gun this run so wanted to be honest.
In my opinion, the Shield is one of his best weapons, if not the best general survivability. It's slow, has bad dodges and weird stamina/run, and relies on the Bleed talent heavily for damage.} But if you know what you're doing with it you can solo clutch and carry a team. I wouldn't run it out of Gunlugger though.
@@theactionwindow5008 Yeah I was thinking the taunt route with block efficacy and toughness regen to be a literal bulwark. The +5% tougness seems negligble when you regen and have the reduction already. Although I could see the charge being better than taunt due to regen on toughness since I have the shield to block.
Hm doesn’t „Thoughness Regeneration Speed“ only affect normal regeneration? I forged away from that stat on my Psyker because I only very rarely actually „regenerate“ toughness, nearly all of it is coming from talents and I think the stat does nothing for that.
Affects toughness regeneration in coherency, which you can also stack with the Ogryn's Lynchpin talent. Very nice for passive regeneration and trading with shooters.
@@theactionwindow5008 with toughness on crit, warpkill and vent my toughness bounces so much up and down in combat that it felt I only very rarely see cohesion regen (I play Surge most of the time). That said Ogryn and Psyker are so very different especially defensively that I can’t really say if anything translates … for one Ogryns tend to still be upright after the second hit.
@@PsyCrowX Oh yeah there's no way I'd run it on Psyker but on Ogryn it's great because you can stack it. Psyker has crazy toughness options at the moment ^^
Been running this for two days now and it's disgusting. You run into scenarios that look bad, like you reflecively think it's a wipe, and then you just melt everything.
