yeah but no matter what gear I have access to as long as I have a talented artist I could make anything sound good. Usually more established artists have access to better gear, but I only say that cuz there's no excuse for not being able to make music just because you don't have specific gear. Aka a luxury, which isn't always a must have imo... As long as you have the basic necessities you're good
For the first technique, just use a lfo tool triggered by the kick and adjust it................ it take 20 seconds and it's exactly the same result, you can even be more accurate with a scope
Yes, at 10:13 I alluded to this I just haven't made the video explaining that technique yet. This video was breaking down specifically how Jaycen Joshua does it but obviously there's a better more efficient and accurate way of pulling this off (that I prefer). But that just shows how educated you are on the subject which is a good thing! You're ahead of most people
I got a new PC with maxxed out specs and I cant fix bad latency while live monitoring in ableton live... ive tried all the tutorials and cant find the fix is ableton just garbage or what am I doing wrong? I had zero latency on my macbook with worse specs and the same gear im using now
I'm not too sure I don't use ableton so I can't really say... If you're using a lot of plugins while recording just try to make sure they have a low latency mode for recording. If you can lower your buffer length as low as you possibly can that would help. And this is more of a pro tools thing but there's a delay compensation option that helps keep all your tracks in sync together I'm not sure if Ableton has a feature like that but just look up delay compensation and see if you can find something online. If you have a maxed out computer then it should just be a setting that you probably don't have on right whether that be on a plugin or in the DAW Another thing is to make sure that you have the most up to date drivers for your audio interface because that could cause issues as well. To find them just look up whatever the make and model of your interface is on google and then put drivers after that and you should be able to find them. Once you download and install the most recent up to date drivers make sure to restart your computer and then test it from there. @@MezzAndEmoh yes I record w analog compression. After my microphone hits my art pro mpa II preamp it goes into my analog compressor which is the heritage audio Tubesessor
Unfortunately I don't use logic so I can't really say but I know if you mirror the session you can achieve something similar but since I don't have a mac that's something you would have to piece together on your end
@@user-fw6um6yo4k use dynamic when you hear problematic frequencies only here and there on whatever source you’re Eqing Use regular eq when you hear a problematic frequency throughout the entirety of a source that you want to correct or When you want to shape the overall tone

Hey, do you think motu m2 is powerful enought for beyerdynamic dt990 pro 250ohms? A lot of people complains that this headphones are too quiet with this interface
@@burgerp1255 motu makes some good interfaces but the thing about beyerdynamic headphones is that they do require a lot of power to get a decently loud signal especially if you’re using the 250 ohms version. I have the same exact headphones but I use an external headphone amplifier to get the level I need for those headphones since the headphone amp provides more juice. This is the one I use amzn.to/3WBE1Sl The only thing about the Motu M2 is that it only has 1 stereo pair of 1/4 inch Trs outs and 1 pair of rca outs and with the headphone amp I use you need an additional pair of 1/4 inch Trs outs if you want to plugin that headphone amp and some studio monitors. So if you want a more budget headphone amp you could get this one amzn.to/3AbpFAL And this will directly plug into your headphone output from the motu interface you just need a 1/4 inch to 1/4 inch Trs cable to plug it into this headphone amp and then you connect your headphones to this amp and you should get a good signal from there with no worries about the headphones being under powered. I just wanted to know what you were doing recording wise coming in, as far as gaining staging, preamp and compression because I have a similar setup with the u87 but I feel like I’m doing to much and seeing u use very little to get the sound tells me I’m doing something wrong

He's using the Sm7b and Sm58 to lay down ideals in the control room. I like both mics, but he's not using them for the final vocals. Using a dynamic mic in the control room to mumble melodies rather than a loud condenser makes sense.

@@goobstersroom no it removes a lot of important things if you need more highs just boost them don’t cut 186hz 😂, i cut 60hz-80hz but cutting 186hz you killed the vocals body/punch.
