This was just what I needed. My husband brought this serger for me several years ago and I never used it, its been sitting in the same spot for over 2 years. I pick it up, clean around it, like it's not even there. This video has given me the courage to turn it on and give it a try. Thanks again! :)

Anything and everything is appreciated!!! I’m having extreme difficulty finding the appropriate knife and blade for this DX. Today’s delivery was knife blade that fit but bunched the material and will not cut. Mine was a refurbished on EBay and they did not tell me that. So I have no picture of what the actual knife and blade are to look like and where to buy them. Please continue to do “lessons” on this DX. Thank you.

This is an awesome detail video ! I am kinda new to sewing as far as hands on but ive got some experience and a lot or mid ways as far as a couple years of a lot of lessons watching learning about every kind of sewing from garments to crafts and now I’m interested in quilting ! I would like to have a handle on one of these but I wonder if that can be done ! I’m trying to think of how to do that in my head ! Lol also if you ever run across a deal on a janome hd 1000 I have the black one I got on Facebook marketplace ! But man there are videos of them sewing a yardstick with one lol I wouldn’t do that but man these are nice to sew over layers ! Just saying ! I like it for that !

Thanks for your video. I'm a visual learner and the cd that came with it is nice but many laptops don't have cd player so I watch it initial on DVD player that has my streaming apps. This is much more direct and to the point! Thank you!

The parts you thread underneath are called loopers, not needles.

I’m a new subscriber. Thank you for your videos on learning your serger. I ordered mine on Amazon because several friends I’m following here on RU-vid have one. I accidentally ordered the wrong model - theirs comes already threaded. Instead of dealing with canceling the order or a refund once it came due to my mistake, I decided to search YT to find out if it was a good machine still. From what I’m seeing, it’s definitely worth keeping and saving myself the $60-$70 price difference. Thanks again for your videos!
