Thank you, this is really clever. I am interested (and almost a bit pleased) to see, that you do not seem to (be able to) sit cross-legged, with the knees very deep - whilst you have good posture and flexibility otherwise. I often wondered, if my poor posture was because I was never able to sit cross legged, not even in childhood, possibly due to my hip alignment (which then affects the pelvis and, subsequently, the spine). So, there is hope! Just had the first go at this exercise - and had to have a break after five reps! Not managing to touch the wall with the head, so there is plenty of room of improvement!! Thanks again!
I have such damage in trap muscle, hump appearance and pain. THE pillow trick work. My only question is my cervical neck curls inward. Will that correct itself to?
I was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease about 12 years ago,and aside from the ringing and hissing that I hear 24 / 7…I also have vertigo and my balance is out of whack (really BAD sometimes). I haven’t slept without a T.V. or radio on ever since the diagnosis. Sometimes I feel like I’m going to go INSANE because I can’t escape the noise in my head. But I’ll give these exercises a shot, and see if that can at least help my balance a little bit. Thanks for the video!
When you say it can take 5-6 times could you elaborate? I’ve done the maneuver once and the spinning stopped! However I’ve felt dizzy and off balance but no spinning. It’s been 2 weeks now. Should I keep at it or work on vestibular exercises instead? I’m so scared of starting more spinning and nausea. Do we need to repeat multiple times in one day or do you mean 5-6 times separately - on separate days? Thanks for the clarification! Edit: Backstory. I’ve had a cholesteatoma removal surgery 2 months ago. 2 days ago I had a tube placed in my ear, I do believe it was BPPV because it happened when I rolled around in bed at night. I also did the test and I determined I was spinning when I did it on the right side (affected ear). Thanks
DR Jon I have Bee struggling with being off when I change my gaze up and down or side to side. Or turning my head or turning around . I hv had chiro massage. Massage and rapid nfr helped take all symptoms for 2 days but they returned. I have neck trap pain with it. I do all the cervogenic stretches..it gets worse as the day progresses. Should I try these?

Can i use a regular pillow for side sleeping? Since having my csection ive been suffering from a pinched nerve in my neck on the right side for almost a month on and off which causes slight nausea. Any advice would be greatly appreciate the discomfort often radiates to my back and shoulder.
Hello sir, i am feeling tightness in my palate and muscle spasm all over face .My posture is also poor , sir can you suggest me a good exercise or this video is good enough.
Not sure if I have vertigo but I only started experiencing slight dizziness on long stretches of road going over 70km/h or more. Any advice? Regular activities that do not involve being in a car are normal.
I have a small shoulder cuff tear left shoulder. No surgery they say its too small to do surgery.I have been dealing with my fingers and hand moving on its own alot of weakness in my hand and arm and left leg and now my left toes and my left leg are giving me problems. My left leg stays engaged and won't relax. My doc said it had to be from my neck and the necl doc said no its your shoulder and that's it nothing else to address this.
Just interested but could this give you a hollow back? I don't know if this is the correct term but i hope you understand what i mean. And is it normal that you neck hurts while doing exercise 1?
I wonder if this is my problem. On February 9, 2023, I began to feel dizziness and vertigo. It lasted for months. Doctor's couldn't figure anything out. In May 2024, my dizziness has returned. It's also at a very bad time because my mother was in a wreck on May 3 and I'm the only one with a car to drive everyone around. I'm dizzy while driving. It's very stressful. I'm dizzy all the time now. I do have high blood pressure, but I'm already taking medication for that. I don't think that is the source of the problem. It's like all of these primary doctors I've been to never want to figure out why I'm dizzy. They just give me another pill. I'm very frustrated with all of it. People don't understand how debilitating it is. It also makes it difficult to think in general. Everything is slow when I'm like this. I can't even exercise. I have not been checked for neck problems. I do work on the computer a lot. I'm an animator in animation and game industry, and I record gameplay videos as well. I'm getting checked again for allergies soon. I do have lots of allergies and Dallas area is the worst place for allergies. I'm miserable everyday. I don't even like living in this miserable city area.

All my life through school and the military i was always taught to touch my toes before running or any exercise! Maybe that's why my back is such a mess??
Hi Dr. Saunders. What if someone has had this problem for decades? Will these work? Also, I have been seeing a physio now for some time and doing the exercises but I see no change. Been well over a year. At what point should I give up and say this isn't working? I guess what I'm asking is, should I be doing this for 5 years? 10 years? I need a cut-off point to say it isn't working and just accept that it's permanent. I really don't want to spend years doing this, as I have no way of knowing whether it's going to work, so how long is a good time before I face facts. 2 years? 3 years of trying? Thank you.
Hello Doc. Thanks for this video, its doing wonders to my neck and head pain. Just a quick question, Can i start swimming also for the muscles strengthening as I have symptoms of DDD as well?
