TORQ Toolbox is the Automotive Channel for the Tactical Toolbox RU-vid Channel. This page will be dedicated to Modified Car & Truck Builds along with Product Reviews for performance parts. The first Modified Car build will be with the 2019 Honda Civic Type R FK8. After that you'll just have to wait and see....
For those wondering about the OEM red carbon mirror caps that adhere to the vehicle, they give you oem black painted ones to replace your painted ones to replace before installation.
Nice video man I’ll consider doing what you did as well with that tune, when you shift fast, do you ever get a 2nd gear grind I unfortunately do with mine
Sad to see this channel is basically dead. He’s still around but only doing stuff on his firearms channel. As far as I know he’s still active in the Type R group on FB so he still has the car. Wish we had some updates or closure tho
can you turn off this STARTING SEQUENCE MODE? it comes on every time you drive as soon as the light comes on. when you drive into the tunnel this animation comes on, it is questionable whether this is allowed
Great video, lots of detail. I have that impact, it might make 100 ft lbs on a good day on level 3. I’d recommend getting the spec and using a toque wrench.
Better to just take it easy with the downshifting. There is no reason to bang it in second gear, since the car pull in 3rd gear from about 3,500 rpms. My cars transmission feels like butter. So this guy should get a car with paddle shifters.
i wanted a ktuner for years i finally got one and i tuned my 2015 accord lx with a takeda intake and dual exhaust stage 1 tune. I feel no difference at all im very sad i was so hyped for this day and im so let down... idk if i did something wrong or what but it seems like everything went smooth with the flash but if anything it feels like its slower now in sport mode
A couple of points regarding the wiring: 1. Use a fuse with lower amperage for your detector than the existing fuse in the panel. 2. Your test of wire polarity was not a valid test, as the radar detector will always turn on if both fuses are seated in the fuse tap, regardless of the direction you placed the tap in the panel. When wired correctly, the fuses will be in parallel, and when incorrectly wired they will be in series. Either test the receptacle polarity with a meter or voltage probe, or see if the radar detector comes on without the existing fuse from the panel seated in the fuse tap. You want the detector to always come on whether the existing panel fuse does not exist in the tap or is blown (i.e., wired in parallel).
