this was really interesting to watch, as in november of 2020, i had a tumor that damaged T1-T4, completely destroying T2. I imagine the emergency surgery they did to remove the mass and get it tested may have been a little similar

I was wondering whether the patient was paralized or not becoz of the injury and how he recovered from the surgery.

Really enjoyed the video but would it be correct to assume that the bullet had already significantly damaged the spinal tissue with loss of motor function as a result.

This popped up into my YT recommendations, probably because I'm really interested in Science and Surgeries, but particularly - I want to be a neurosurgeon. I'm currently in 9th grade now and I'm really set since 8th grade that I'm going to be a neurosurgeon, no matter how long it takes. I love watching these videos because even though reality hits hard, I'm passionate about this. I have many more years ahead of me. I'm going to be 30 someday but might as well be 30 and a neurosurgeon! Wish me luck. You guys give me inspiration to continue. :))

I was asking myself the same thing, but I guess they aren’t adding much more damage to that of the bullet

That’s soooo kewl. Wow i loved this. So, the spinal cord was cut, does that mean what for his abilities after?? And if a bullet was IN the spinal cord- was there not an entry hole?? I have so many questions!! Wow thanku. Awesome very admirable 👏🏼🏆🩺🥳

My daughter has a very large AVM...her first bleed was in 1999. They went up through her groin and used 77 coils to stop the bleed. When it bleeds, the only thing they do is go up through her groin to her brain and use a new "Glue" type stuff to stop it.

I dont have sleep paralysis but I'd think a good solution is to sleep on your stomach forehead on pillow mouth off pillow to let you breath, pillow covers your eyes so no scary things to look at

Nice process, but the spinal cord is a very sensitive and delicate nervous system. Did the patient develop any complications such as paralysis or loss of functions?

I have been having excruciating headaches that are uncontrollable. My internal doctor prescribed medication ( nurtec) and didn't help. Whenever my husband and I take the bus it triggers my headaches and feeling dizzy. This will last more than 2 days because it was triggered from the bus. My brother passed away from brain aneurysm and he was just 58 years old without any symptoms. I'm terrified of dying in my sleep.
