Welcome to my channel. My name is Maurits and together with my wife Minella we have lived in eighteen countries. We created expatwell.com to provide fellow expats with the type of information they need to successfully navigate their life abroad. On this channel we cover all sorts of topics that expats might be interested including videos on cost of living, expat salaries, visas, the pros and cons of living in a particular city/country and much more.
Your videos dosen't show the whole picture .. you forget that the companies also paid mandatory pension besides the salery from 9 to 18 percent .. so you have to make a more transperent video ..
WHY IS SALARY LOW IN ITALY COMPARE TO THEIR COUNTERPART LIKE GERMANY FRANCE ETC ? MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE ITALY HAS LOW STANDARD OF LIVING BUT IT IS A BIG LIE . SO SAD PEOPLE ARE LOOKING ELSE WHERE AFTER SOME YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DUE TO THE LOW SALARY HERE
I'll exclude the entry level jobs. Gross yearly salary for mid tier and + starts in any EU country at 45000€, but top 8 countries for IT (Germany, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Norway and UK) start at 100k
Heeeeeeyyyy slow down. Your content is fascinating but you speak way too fast for human understanding, it’s not professional. Tweak that and your chanel will grow. All the best
Bangkok is too crowded, very….traffic is the worst, the taxi are mean and love to rip ppl off. The side walk are damage and dirty, if you have a baby, bangkok is impossible to stroll the stroller everywhere, especially when illegal street vendor cover up the whole sidewalk. The population is bad, the flood is the worst and the hygiene my god…. Like it havent been developed for decades
60K USD you own your place outright in Malaysia its a no Brainer. Question about the education is there any free education there like we have in the USA .
Funny part is primarily medical said to be reasoning for half of your caporal existence of time/money and overwhelming majority humans rarely require medical till way past 45 and proctologist initial examination so? does it truly require half of my money to pay a road that will not last one scintilla as compared to Rome?
But at the same time, these collectivized tax money only go to Leftist politician pockets and their expensive squandering spree while the Tax-paying working masses do not benefit anything. 💀💀
All the rich people come to Malaysia 🇲🇾, but we are quite Conservative especially in the rural area, we are a Muslim country soo you are going to listen the Azan "Calling Prayer" 5 times a day everyday
I’ve lived both in KL and Bangkok from 2016 to 2021. Bangkok is more of an interesting city, while KL is more of a livable city. This video is well thought and researched. However, it portrays a forgivable misconception. Bangkok is NOT a cheap city any longer. It’s not as expensive as NYC, Sydney, Paris etc but it is more expensive than most Latin American, Eastern European, and medium-sized European cities. If you have two children and they attend good private schools in Bangkok, your cost of living probably is going to be higher than in Paris, Berlin, or Vancouver. One aspect that surprised me was the dating scene. Initially I thought the dating scene in Kuala Lumpur was too slow and boring. But it’s not. If you are open for a serious relationship, and for this purpose you are focusing on high-value women, KL might be a more favourable environment than Bangkok. The prevailing culture in Bangkok is not favourable for serious relationships. In general, Malaysian women take relationships way more serious than their Thai congeners. All in all, I would live in Bangkok if I were looking for an adventurous and hedonistic lifestyle, while my choice would lay on Kuala Lumpur should I wish a stable and productive lifestyle.
