Welcome to my channel! I'm a 30 year old mother and wife living with type 1 diabetes since the age of 12 (2002). I hope to inspire anyone living with a chronic or mental illness that you are greater and stronger. I share a little bit of everything that I enjoy including fitness, health, and reviewing products.

Can you please tell me the names of some reputable cbd products? My depression is not good and i really want to find something other than the standard meds. Ive taken several and am not thrilled with how they make me feel. I dont sleep well and desperately need to have a better quality of sleep. Everyone says to buy several kinds and try them. I cant afford to buy several. If you can give me a couple of names, i can try one. Please help. I appreciate it very much. Take care!
so I just started trying a little bit, the main difference is you do feel so relaxed, I literally slept like a baby. It did help me look at stressful situations with so much calmness. I personally felt it was almost too calming where I could focus but liked your idea taking something like coffee to balance those effects.
I saw a few problems with the way this person handled the Tandem slim x2. If I were new to this pump I would not watch this video. I’m new to Tandem but not to diabetes having had it for 61 years and having been on a pump for 10 years. Run don’t walk away from this video!
I agree completely. Exactly as you said, it's a journey and consistency and patience are the key. I'm Type 2 and have lost just over 60 lbs. in the past year. I'm down to 175 which is the first time I haven't been overweight or obese as an adult. Unfortunately I'm still insulin dependent, but there's only so much you can do. Thanks for posting.
A fellow Jacobs😊 I'm also type 1. My weights been pretty plateaued until covid and I ballooned from 120 to 170. I'm finally in a good safe headspace to take charge of my health. I wanna feel strong body wise. I dont really feel at home in my body, trying to give it grace. I've been doing small changes. My biggest issue is the highs and lows of exercise and then binging the sugar when I'm low. The lows at night freak me out and it's a huge de-motivator to workout. I've been doing more veggies fruits and proteins with a bit of reduction of carbs (def no where near low carb) water is hard but I do feel better when I'm hydrated and trying to remind myself that. Looking forward to watching your other videos.
Have you ever done a parasite cleanse? Did you know that can affect your brain? What you are eating will cause issues with depression and anxiety. DIET PEOPLE, PLEASE RESEARCH THIS.
I’ve struggled with dieting in the sense that since I’m eating healthy my sugar always drops low. So I never know how to maintain a good diet where my sugar doesn’t drop AND I can loose weight.
My Anxiety now stops me from driving! something I love doing and now I have Arthritis which is really painful limits me from going out at all. Do you think CBD would help? I tried 2 heap ones from Amazon which proved a waste of time and money. Any advice would be much appreciated thanks John (In UK)
This company charges so much for there oil which costs around 50 cents the bottle costs more, the content wouldnt dull i fly, lovely hemp seed oil with no cbd content
If you don't need a line, WHY USE A PUMP WITH A LINE? However, if you are on Medicare, Part B will NOT pay for the pods! It is charged to Part D and it is much easier to now reach the "donut hole', unfortunately.
Hi I follow this every time I change but today I get a message, the cartridge requires a minimum of 50 u after tubing has been filled woukd I like to add more insulin to the cartridge???? I press yes and I get the message again??
I tried it a couple of times before but I didn't see too much of a long term benefit because I look back now and think that I was probably using too much of it at once. I'm a 6'0" 34 y/o male, and even ONE drop of the 5% Jacob Hooy oil I use I find quite strong (the bottle says to start with "a few drops", no chance). On some days, it feels just fine, on others it feels a bit too strong and can make me a little nauseous also. I should really try the 2.75% one. Maybe I am sensitive to CBD, but would recommend anyone to start with only 1 drop, even if it says to take a few. If it's not strong enough wait until the next dose and do 2 drops next time, etc. But if 1 drop helps and you don't need a few every time, you'll save a lot of money.
