Try turning off your phone, remove the sim card. And if you are using dual sims, make sure that you keep the Smart SIM on the tray 1. Turn on your phone and try again. I hope that helps.
This works the same way as a physical SIM, just a digital version as it's installed on the device and not inserted on SIM slot like they physical one. Also needs to be registered.

Thank you for your question. You can load up your number the same way with a regular SIM card. Nothing fancy. Any load you can buy for a physical SIM card also applies with an eSIM.

Hi pwede @bossryee kinahanglan jud ka moadto sa Globe store. Unya, irequire raba nila nga ilisan og plan instead na prepaid, kung prepaid imong exisitng physical SIM. Pero kung naka plan naka daan, way problima kay dali ra.

Once they've confirmed the change with your debit card's currency to US dollar, you can go ahead and start withdrawing your Paypal funds in US dollar to your card. What will then happen is your bank will be the one to automatically convert the USD it receives from Paypal to PHP, so what you will receive in your bank account is peso, the good thing is, you'll get a higher exchange rate compared to Paypal's exchange rate.

Im confused right now because I have failed transactions right now in my bank account from paypal and there was a transaction made as well that Im sending to paypal deducting 115 pesos but I havent transferred money yet from paypal. Im really not sure of this.
Hi Cherry, when you first link your card there is a charge that will be deducted from the account you are trying to link, however, this will also be refunded to you once you have confimed the linking. For transfers, there's a way to setup automatic transfer, however, you will have to setup automatic transfer first before that is activated.

Hi @jigzzjigzzz pwede naman maipa convert to eSIM ang prepaid number pero pagpunta mo sa Globe store, nirerequire nila na kumuha ka ng plan para iconvert nila ito eSIM yung existing prepaid number mo. Yan yung base sa experience ko and many of those who tried, pero try mo lang din baka sakali may changes sa policy nila in terms of converting to eSIM.
Pwedeng pwede. Ang lahi ra jud sa eSIM Kay embedded siya sa phone, pero ang function mao ra gihapon, so ok ra siya gamiton pang register sa mga apps like GCash or PayMaya, etc.

Hi @johnmarkmarasigan6416 New number po siya. Pero kung gusto mong ikeep yung existing number mo as eSIM, you can request sa Globe store, pero please note na kelangan postpaid yung magiging linya kung converted from prepaid to postpaid eSIM.

Nakaka trauma po talaga at ang masaklap yung record mo sa pinag loanan mo ang mapeperwisyo kasi hindi mo naman pwedeng ibaling yung sisi sa app na ginamit mo. Anyway, lesson learned.
Different load po sila. Pero kung meron lang existing number na gusto mong I convert into eSIM usually nire require Nila na i convert din into postpaid plan.
Really a bummer. GCash is my preferred way of redeeming my reward. Right now I'm thinking of choosing between Robinson's or SM gift cards instead. What's your second choice?

Hi @edgaracepasion9317 from what I heard from the Globe rep when I visited a Globe store, hindi na nga raw pwede ibalik pag naconvert na from physical to eSIM. Although, I have doubts with the answer, I think it’s worth getting a second opinion from another Globe insider.
salamat sa video, meron langa kong qestion. di to ako abrod ang I'm plannin to open gcash, na download kona yung app na globeone and it says na compatible naman ang device, kapag binili ko ba yung eSIM gagana ba siya kahit nandito ako abroad? or kailangan ko pang ipa activate ang roaming? Ang purpose ko lang po kasi pag open ng globe para makapan open ng gcash, pang OTP OTP, need parin ba ipa raoming?

Hi @arrobangjonathan Okay, first, be sure to register your SIM. Second, go to your phone's settings, cellular, if you are using an iPhone, make sure that the eSIM is also turned "ON".
If conversion to eSIM, globe store po ang makakapag convert. Sabihin nyo lang po sa Globe representative na ipapa convert ninyo ang existing SIM card ninyo.
