Thanks for this great video. Is there a trick to using the needle threader? I have just had mine repaired, with new hook and thread holder, but it’s a bit intermittent, and sometimes thread gets caught,or it doesn’t got through the eye of the needle.Sometimes it works like a charm? Tia. X
I have found that if I pull about 8 inches of thread from the spool before hitting the threading button provides extra slack in the thread and allows the thread to go through the eye a little easier.
I loved this tutorial 😊. You explained it so well, thank you 💕. The dress is absolutely adorable, the fabrics match so well. I little girl will be so happy to wear such a pretty dress, and I know she will feel the love that went into while you were sewing it. THANK YOU, Karen 💖💖
Thank you for your kind words. I am having a great time making cute little dresses. My family consists of boys--brothers, sons, grandsons, nephews--no girls.
The links are in the description box below the video. I checked out the video using my Chromebook and the links were working. I don't know if it's an iPad thing, but if you can't find them, send an email to me at waltzquilt@yahoo.com and I can send them to you in a return email.
Thank you for this tutorial! I am a new baby lock owner and I did not know what I was doing. I was so scared to take it apart. My stitches were all messed up and since I cleaned it, it works great. Thanks again!
Thanks. I made that dress as well. Made a little "parade" of dresses on my channel. This dress is becoming my fav. for next year. Thanks for sharing. Glad I found your channel.
Thank you so much for sharing. Great idea on marking the seam allowance and I love the front embellishment. Cute dress! A little girl will love it for sure🥰
I had the same problem, looking for Fonts. I had to have my laptop completely erased. Now every time I try to use Embrilliance, it wants to install it?? I can’t get it to copy to my USB drive. It says it has it, but it doesn’t show up on my machine. It shows a working copy. It’s been a long while since I used it. 🤷🏼♀️
Try contacting the Embrilliance Support Center (Click "Contact Us" on the left side of their Home screen). They have always been very helpful when I have had a problem.
Great job on both your tutorial and finished project. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. Both greatly appreciated. Look forward to more from your channel.
Sometimes I want the fabric inside the stitch to puff out a little bit. Sometimes it looks good and sometimes it comes out all bumpy. The cutter makes the fabric lie nice and flat inside the stitch.
Watching this tutorial a year later and wished I had found it sooner. Thanks for all the info I can't wait to try this method. I really appreciate all the work you put into doing this & now I think I will binge watch your other videos.
This was very informative, thanks so much. Could I ask you to demonstrate how to manually thread the Elegante please? I find the instruction book very vague.Best wishes,Cathy. X
Thank you so much for this video. I've been searching online for this particular serger technique; yours is exactly what I needed. I was looking for a method to do a single-fold Hong Kong finish using my serger. Thanks a million.
I tested your technique today and I got the perfect result. I adjusted the lugs on my single-fold binder (mine is the rake version). I got the bottom fabric to be completely encased by the looper threads. No need to trim the excess fabric. Now to tackle the unlined jacket using your Hong Kong finish. Thank you again.
