Late one night I was fixin' to fight A dirty hustler tryin' to cop my $$$ When from behind a whiskey bottle Cracked me then I hit the floor Barely alive I could feel him drive A black needle in to draw my blood With an evil grin he sang a mojo hymn And left me face down in the mud Dark angel gonna get me Lord, set me free I've been cursed by a voodoo hand Black magic all around Oh mama, pray for my soul I'm dying on this killing ground Cursed by a voodoo hand Death's needle pushing down Oh mama, pray for my soul I'm dying on this killing ground Well, I headed south by word of mouth To a shack down Louisiana way I meet another man with voodoo hands And this is what he had to say I feel it in my bones That your restless soul's Tormented by an evil curse But if this mojo man Got your blood in his hands No way the spell can be reversed Dark angel ain't gonna let me be I've been cursed by a voodoo hand Black magic all around Oh mama, pray for my soul I'm dying on this killing ground Cursed by a voodoo hand Death's needle pushing, pushing Oh mama, pray for my soul I'm dying on this killing ground Oh Lord, I'm dying Cursed by a voodoo hand Black magic all around Oh mama, pray for my soul I'm dying on this killing ground Cursed by a voodoo hand Death's needle pushing down Oh mama, pray for my soul I'm dying on this killing ground👽
Voodoo Hand Is An Excellent Great Killer Straight Up Rock Song By Russell Allen And Totally Rocks It Needs To Be Fully Cranked Up All The Way To Full Maximum Volume.
Passing through the void The darkes grand illusion Chaos is riding on the wind Destroyed in agony They create a maddened lair Summon all to heed their cry Innocence fading away - the dying eyes of the prey Desperate cries, hail of fire deciding All out fate in the night Tempt in sin Shadows then begin to Gather the souls they hold within Victims of desire Pestilence of their invasion Forms then take on evil waves Paralyze, victimize The shadows fall and enter fast from the sky - (from the sky) Summon all to heed their cry Innocence fading away - the dying eyes of the prey Desperate cries, hail of fire deciding All out fate in the night Tempt in sin Shadows then begin to Gather the souls they hold within I've betrayed - slowly fade I repent my inner plea I've denied - sanctified Cannont hide from this monstrosity I'm immersed in a curse Of this jaded imagery Realize that your cries Only jeapordize this legacy Desperate cries, hail of fire deciding All out fate in the night Tempt in sin Shadows then begin to Gather the souls they hold within Desperate cries, hail of fire deciding All out fate in the night Tempt in sin Shadows then begin to Gather the souls they hold within
Discovered this on Spotify. Holy shit man this is my new favorite song! Russel Allen has been in so many projects, of course he had to have had a solo album! This is amazing!
I've been listening to this song since I was a young teen and was just humming the section at 0:26 onwards a few minutes ago and then caught myself humming Bach's Solfeggietto instead!
They never overcome this early stuff, by the Gods, could you bring back this Neoclassical stuff and not shitty modern SX metalcore crap, this is fvcking great! \m/
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're bored like me atm you can stream all of the latest series on Instaflixxer. Been watching with my brother for the last couple of months xD
I saw these guys live a while ago at Jaxx Nightclub, best show of my life. Recently they were playing at the Fillmore in Silver Spring which I sadly missed.
+MariubsOldBacklog obviosly, i think Syn x is one of the best band in the world (from first album to the odyssey, then, they are a good band.). this was a sarcastic post
I've seen Symphony X & Dream Theater live (Separately of course, although that would be an insane fucking show). I would have to raise my horns for Symphony way higher than Dream Theater... FUCKING MICHAEL ROMEO.
hey dude, dragonforce= speed and very good band but, symphny x and dream theater = quality, creativity, speed, progressive style and more....... An endless sporadic very good too!
funny you see it that way ~ Petrucci is well known to write solos he can't play, and then practice them until he can as a way of challenging himself. Which is all well and good but if I had to choose between them, I'd go with Romeo without a second thought. Malmsteen was an Idol of mine, when I was 15 ~ he is EXTREMELY stale an formulaic. They BOTH blow him out of the water ~ but again, thats just my opinion
