I have an extreme love for synthesizers, both VA and Analog. My favorite music is from the early to mid 80's, from Duran Duran to Van Halen and Def Leppard. I would like to invite you to join me as I bring this musical era back to life using many of the synthesizers from that time period. Thanks for watching and Happy Keyboarding!
Can you take out the distortion on some of the organs or is it built into the sample? Also, can you change the leslie effect? Some use tremolos instead.
I've owned a Jupiter X for about 8 months now. It's taken me this long to realize why its called X, because it's designed to be whatever Jupiter you want it to be, well that is if maybe Roland creates the Jupiter 6 if they can compete with the Mercury 6 VST. Intend to get this. Just gotta figure out how to import with the existing stuff I have saved.
I owned a Juno 106 for a long time, what i learnt is the Junos painfully thin, child basic tone was ideal for fattening up with chorus. If the sound was far too begin with, it would be to much with chorus.
I picked up my JV 80 way back in the early 1990s . had several roland services in its long life ,audio outputs , transformer power supply & a new keyboard fitted as the glue in the originals tended to stick down keys after a few years use. In the 20 years of tours the sjv 80 travelled thousands of Ks in it's original case , so many trucks ,vans ,aircraft cargo holds with tours to US, UK , Europe and SE Asia and all around Australia, playing pubs & clubs to the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne concert hall. Today she is retired from the road and sits in a sliding draw under my studio desk. It's my keyboard controller for logic and has done fab service in this roll. All the patch buttons still work as does the synth .
This thing is seriously underrated. It's only downside is editing but I got Midi Quest 13 Pro yesterday because the Kiwi update is too complex; It does the job. Never selling this thing. A noteworthy remark is the filter resonance mod. Google for it. It comes down to turn some screws on the boards to get more resonance. I felt the filter had too little of it. I love it now.
If it wasn't for the fact you played with a Jupiter 8 on the same video, I swear I wouldn't have realised just how much juicer it was than the Juno 60. Thank you for uploading this!
@@synthartist69 Oh I absolutely would love to own either keyboard. It's just I can see when they are side by side why The Jupiter 8 costs so much more. I was drooling like Homer Simpson at both of em in truth though, once the fx went on.
Just what I needed. Thank you for sharing. I'm still on the fence about this or the Korg Nautilus. Acoustic pianos are the most important factor. And the ModX is such a sweet price point. Thank you for sharing,
