Thank you for posting something that is not drenched in just the ensemble effect... all the other Polysix demos make it seem like it’s just a string machine!
I've got 2 Korg racks an M1R and a Wavestation A/D. I love the Wavestation A/D for it pads. I'm going to save up for an analog synth because i miss having one.
Got one as a gift from friend, who is giving up his hobby... But seems to have some problems... Try to repair, easy to open, was very dusty inside... Battery seems ok... But audio out is producing noise and scratches... And memory switches doesnt response, any tips? Is it worth to repair, professional would be a few 100€ in Germany... Cheers
@@davemaverick8438 It's definetly not overrated. It belongs on the top of the list for several reasons. However that doesn't mean the Polysix isn't up to par. It's a great synth. It's only too bad that this is a very much a stand alone synth, since it does not support MIDI ( Unless you build in custom MIDI via non official ways, which has downsides ) But it's popular to go against mainstream, and I understand why someone would say that about the Juno. However music history and buyers reviews all show that you are very wrong. The Juno is only overpriced right now, to buy one second hand. But that is logically when a product is so popular and legendary as it was back then.
PANTA I got my Juno 106 and my PolySix for about the same price. The market value for them are around the same. Would that make the PolySix overpriced too? But then again, I’ve seen people complain that the PolySix iOS app is overpriced at $30.
Hello Synthartist I would like to ask you if you recognize this sound and possibly how to succeed in making it perfectly ... is it a single sound of some synth or was it created by adding 2 different sounds? thank you
@@synthartist69 I was a hardcore David Lee Roth fan, never thought I would become a Sammy fan too (I still hate those damn electronic drumkits Alex recorded on though...) I respect Sammy for living according to what he preaches, down to earth dude
@@synthartist69 OU812 is an album that deserves a re-recording session from the ground up... maybe someone like Alex5000 is up to par with the task, that dude is crazy (the good kind) XDDDDD
