Did you get any instability at higher speeds? With a 2011 GS Adventure fully loaded with metal panniers and camping gear, I found that at 70mph they felt very light on the front tyre, and quite a bit of wobble on the bars, feels like it’s on the cusp of a tank slapped. Got much worse when they got hotter, like when riding on concrete road surface rather than tarmac. I’ve since tried them unloaded, and they feel better, but still a little unstable at 70mph. I am using BMW recommended tyre pressures, I’ll try playing around with them to see if I can improve them. Apart from motorway speeds the tyres feel great everywhere else, and feel great on dusty / gravelly trails
Got one a few months ago, upgrading from a Vespa 300. Very different in ride quality, the Honda is muuuuch more like a motorcycle. Now thinking of the big brother.

I have been a biker for over 50 years, had loads of fast bikes, but now I'm older this size engine and wieght suits me just fine. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable high mpg machine!
@@rontheretiredone very true I hope I will be riding into my 70’s plus too. And yes the NX is a great bike for us older guys I went with the CRF but would like something a little lower and slightly better on the road and the Nx is on the short list!
@@jamiepops62 very true I expect with the minimal of care my CRF should make it way past 100 000 kms however CF Moto have been in Australia for decades and have a decent reputation and the 450 is a reasonably sedate low compression engine that should last well.
I absolutely love this 300SR CFmoto and will actually be cutting a deal on one tomorrow!! I will be trading in my 350GK Zontes for this beautiful bike. I really don't mind that it's 10- horsepower less than mine. Still enough for having a blast in the Twisties! I came from California 6 years ago to the outskirts of Madrid . The roads here are just perfect for this CFmoto 300SR sports bike!! I have my eye on the 2024 gray and black one😊
I agree. I too own a 2022 FTR R Carbon, 2 years later still fascinated with it and just Love everything about it….my only 2 complaints are small gas ⛽️ tank and range and the seat could be more comfortable, besides just Love my FTR and the looks I get on the road!
Thanks for taking the time to film and explain. One note to add on the subject of the length of the course; it can vary from school to school. Some schools in my local area have course length of up to two days. Whilst this may bump up the price, it is potentially a good trade off for being safer and more confident on the roads as well as it takes pressure from having to learn everything in one day and pass. Something extra to consider. Ride safe!
