Also like someone said, he had the worst luck in Scribble Jam. They fucked him over in 07 by giving NoCan 3 rounds in the first half while Franco only had 2 (which he was winning). He should have won 04 and 07 easily.
dam … saw this years ago but didn’t realize how on point swann was. He came through with the punchline after punchline. fckin relentless, every two bars were strait murderous…. the only reason illmac was able to overcome this was because he came with the sicker delivery and flo, more complex multi syllabic rhymes and comebacks to some of swanns standout bars. I painted at Scribble in 2004, then saw this live. That was a fucking amazing weekend. I even partied with Illmac after the show as my boy's hotel room was right next door.
Franco won and it wasn’t particularly close, I think they gave it to illmaculate because he just beat Swann who was the odds on favorite to win that year.
