Wow this is insane!! This is inspiring me to make my first speedrun, I'm 13 hours deep into my first HC Death World. Took about 15 attempts to actually get past the first hour lol
Okay so, im new to factorio. Im a degree holding engineer. Ive been in the trade foe 25 plus years and this.... This is pure mastery of your knowledge and understanding of industrial processes and engineering. If your ratio is 1-1 (usually) then i truly applaud you for the number crunching and dedication. Truly fascinating to watch, considering im about 20 hours out of the tutorial and just unlocked locomotive transportation, this seems just impossible to me at my current skill level.
can someone tell me why he's using long inserters for green circuits at the beginning? like 8:25 why not just use basic inserters to direct feed wires?
I used this guide and seed and got the achievement for under 8 hours!! Thanks, you are insanely good and fast at building. Took me 5h 19min (7.5h if you count the pauses that the game doesn't), feel a bit of shame that I used the guide and did not do it all on my own but oh well.
Omg, I used this very hepfull guide to beat factorio under 15 and 8 hours, and I did 7:58:37 hahahaaaa I still don't undertand how I make it to be almost 3x slower than him practice for sure, but I was following his game step by step. As someone that has quite a lot of xp on this game, I can see the work behind this speedrun, awesome, everything was planned, balanced to the detail on your game, thats impressive I really wanted to accomplish some achievements, I don't know, it just bothers me that I have some things to do :) Thx so much for this guide!
He literally finishes death world run in less than a third of the time it takes me to do default run. In fact he finishes death world in about the same time as my any% run. WTF!?!
