My amateur Factorio brain is still struggling to comprehend how this man completed the game and all achievements in the time it takes me to automate Red science

Congrats! I've been rooting for you to get this for a long time, checking out your twitch stream almost every time you run, and yet somehow I missed to watch this live. Again; Grattis som fan. Heja sverige :D
What i find most interesting (and fair in my opinion) is that the timer starts in the world generation preview, which adds a twist of analyzing and strategy that isn't common in speedruns
Do you have a video or will ypu make a video about your blueprints? Overall I get what each one is doing amd what their stages are, but we hardly see your whole base expanding (which is natural if you're speedrunning). Now I know they were A LOT of work to optimize and I don't want you to share them, I just want to know the explanation for the steps you took to get to under 5h. :) edit: I saw your Speedrun Guides but maybe something new would be nice. :)
This is very impressive - not just the run, but also all the preparation. There must be a million parameters to optimize. Reminds me a bit of formula 1, where you need perfect execution by the driver for two hours but for the end result this is multiplied by the performance of a large team working on the car for years.
I'll be honest, if I had all the materials already made and you slapped that blueprint down on a map, it would probably take me over five hours just to build the blueprint. I'd also fuck up and misplace a power pole somewhere, and probably kill power to half the factory. This is pretty nuts.
What an insane run. But I keep wondering: why do you deconstruct trees at the green circuit outposts? Does a different train come afterward to collect it?
Nice work! Congrats!🎉 So, default settings 100% run is next? Did I understand that (4:56:15) correctly? That should be a whole interesting thing unto itself! 😲
Небольшой вопрос, как он может выполнить все достижения, если есть Солярис, выработать несколько мДж энергии солнечным панелями, а другое пройти игру без солнечных панелей?
Would you be able to save ~5 minutes by running a track parallel to the very long outpost track to enable the trains to reach you sooner? i.e. once the outpost is built, you just need the output to be picked up, but the refill train and outpost equipment trains you want to get there ASAP.
It may be minimal, but wouldn’t it save some time to “pick up” up the construction bots instead of waiting for them to go back into the personal roboport?
Could someone explain me two things? 1. Why biters are so passive in this run? They are supposed to attack, areb they? This is definitely not peaceful mode because he got an achievement. 2. Why he cancels some blueprint ghists and them immediately reverts that deletion? Does this somehow affect the build queue?
1. Pollution spread is set to 0. So pollution stays in the same chunk it is generated. This does not disable achievements for some reason... 2. Yes, it affect the position of the enteties in the construction queue, so it gets built faster as the outpost is activated twice in the loop over the construction queue. This loop can be quite long when there are big builds blueprinted.
He's using the copy and paste method. He's not using a mod for that, use CTRL+C to copy a item then press CTRL+V to paste it on your cursor. By Shift+Mouseclick you can paste a Ghost. And placing items in a assembler is by opening te assembler and CTRL+Left Mouseclick on a empty box in your inventory, it will put all possible items in the assembler.
i've see a little possible win time here 33:28 by making pole 2 tile more bottom. i know it's fast making pole, but for second line u need make enother pole betwin same drill. not with my tips, problem fixed.
Have you ever lost these runs late by accidentally building something in hand just by instinct without thinking? I did that so many times just getting the achievement, once not noticing until I launched the rocket.
They time it from when you click "generate map" to stop people spending an hour planning on the map screen before playing. And so that nefrums can build a billion core i9 to get an edge with instant map-gen lol.
And to think people have spent multiple thousands of hours in this game. You know you got yourself a noob whenever someone has more than 5 hours in this game.
