I know and I recognize everything you were feeling, Ive made all the same excuses to invalidate my feelings for many many years. My close friend whos been in my class since I was six years old acted on the exact same manipulation techniques as nick did on you (I'm almost 19 now and we graduated a month ago, finally taking different paths in life) . So for anyone who can relate. Its okay to not have left when they made you feel like you could trust yourself, like you owed them, disregarding whatever you were feeling. In such situations you dont know what to do, you want to cry scream defend yourself, however they invalidate your feelings and victimizes themselves so that you cant leave, because that will portray you as a shit person. And for all those reasons you dont leave. So to give some tips dont care if you're "right or wrong" your feelings are your feelings and youre entitled to them and to act upon them. And for when they use your words against you say "STOP, I don't want you to talk about this now. And whether or not you perceived my prior words as approval it doesn't matter now because right now I tell you not to". I could give so many more tips but at this point I feel like I'm talking to myself.
So what im getting is in south korea they allow bullying in highschool and then later shame highschool bullies in the workplace instead of directly tackling bullying in highschools. So now u have bullying victims AND bullied bullies instead of just having none of it
I don't care about him or her, I don't know them, they mean nothing to me, but kids rich or not don't need that kind of behavior from their parents and certainly not in front of people.
