How about you drive one that actually still has a little life left in it yea? Any car would be crap with this much neglect. Maybe dont go telling people they haven't driven enough cars when you haven't driven a good one of these. Just invalid arguments coming from you 👎🏻
I really like that timeline's design of Audi, it looks very nice. The previous timeline models I am not a fan of, but still okey. This one is very nice looking. Some things you mention that you don't like are quite nitpicking. For example, so what if the cover of the trunk is not automatic, it takes 1 effort to drag it back down and close the trunk door. But I understand that it folds and you can't see anything behind, so it is kind of understandable, but what sort of situation has to happen for it to fold it and block the view? The only nuisance is that when you close the backseat "doors" that the lid/cover folded on its own, that's the only annoying thing I noticed, and I think it's not supposed to be like that from factory(?). Going for a 3.0 Diesel? Wont it be expensive for the fuel economy? 2.0 petrol is cheaper that way.
Why are you pummeling the car for its tech and style which was groundbreaking when it was new? Stick to your german cars. They're just as outdated and 1/3 as reliable.
Its a fantastic car and a much safer card to play than buy a premium german brand. The thing to look out for is the battery. Be sure check the healt of the battery. But if the car is in great condition it can be worth the money for a new battery. If you change the battery you have another 10 years out of this car.
few days ago I bought 2015 S550 with 80K miles for $29.000 , one owner pretty much, older retired couple , diamond white , absolutely fantastic , every time I sit in it , it’s an experience … btw I’m in US , and luxury cars depreciate tremendously over here , thank God 😊
Excellent review as I’m considering one of these and this was very helpful. Just one question, is it 4 wheel drive in all modes including electric only?
iV stands for Intelligent Vehicle, that means: car can recognize signs, adjust speed accordingly and monitor 360 surroundings next to ACC - so its clever system and it does very well!; Furthermore, I am now getting the second one (2024 model) with 16Kwh battery, this means that first 65-70Km I can drive on electricity only (in mixed hybrid mode it uses on average of 1.3-1.5liters of fuel on 100Km) and if battery is out, it's average is 4.5-5liters /100Km.
great review . i have the 2019 grand sport auto nav 163 bhp and i looooove it . even thinking of trading it it to get the same car but with even more specs on it like heated seats , windscreen etc but honestly its an awesome car 🙂
Small tip: Buy models made after 3/2015. Models made before 3/2015 have this silicon-based coating on cylinder walls which get scuffed very quickly. Most pre-2015 models have scored cylinder walls without owners even knowing.
